Another older ninja anime. If you like this one, you'll like this one.

Kamui no Ken has a way better story and character development. If you like historical ninja animes I'm sure that you'll love it!

Both feature Oda Nobunaga as the evil warlord bent on complete control and uses supernatural help to do so. Of course, only one lone protagonist has the power to stop him. Also both are rife with gratuitous violence.

Supernatural demons, lots of blood and historical characters involved in something BIG, one more oldskool than theother but both have a very dark story to it

Both are set in the Warring States era and have a relationship with some of the most (in)famous events in Japanese history, though Hakkenden is more based on real lived characters, and have Nobunaga as the main villain that lived during the time!

Both anime deal with ninjas. The main protagonist in both titles are a young ninja must learn to become stronger while trying to protect the people that they value the most. Both tiles are also action-packed anime with lots of fight scenes and characters with powerful ninja techniques. Both titles also feature a giant monster that wipe out a village that plays apart of the main protagonist's past. If you like one, you should enjoy the other.

Way better than this one. Story isn't as complete, but action and animation are better.
