Sengoku Kitan Youtouden Movie

Wrath of the Ninja and Blood Reign are similar in many ways. They tell stories of ninja living in Sengoku period Japan, in the time of Nobunaga. And both show have nothing to do with real history, except for the names of historical leaders that are mentioned occasionally. Instead of history we get to see ninja fighting demons with excessive violence. Also both anime feature some sort of a love story. So if you want to watch something about medieval Japan with rivers of blood, monsters and romance, pick any of the two. 

´89 samurai anime´s thats bloody and violent as hell, damn scary at parts, but both have the demonic resurrection storyline like they don´t make it anymore these days sadly. 

Recommended for people who still can make time these days to see historical, long-lasting samurai anime movies and who like this genre. 

Both titles feature Oda Nobunaga as an antagonist that plans on taking over the world with the help from supernatural beings. Both anime are created around the same period (late 1980's-early 1990's) with similar animation and a similar vibe. The main protagonist in both titles are a young ninja that must protect the people that they value the most and have a past connection with the main antagonist. They are also both action-packed anime with lots of violence and blood. If you like one, you will enjoy the other.
