I know what's coming because I read ahead in the manga, TLR: Darkness and DxD share many fun and ecchi qualities.

If you like ecchi, if you like gorgeous character designs, if you like comedy, then you would be well served to give these two shows a try. Both shows fall under the same genres of comedy, romance, school, harem, and ecchi. Also both shows manage to tastefully mix in light, mild, and entertaining drama. That being said, both shows always prioritize the comedy and ecchi. I enthusiastically recommend both shows.

Both shows fall under the genres of comedy, romance, harem, school, and supernatural. The drama level has been given a mild boost and this alone probably makes To Love-Ru Darkness more akin to Rosario + Vampire than Motto To-Love-Ru or To-Love Ru. However, when all is said and done, both shows spotlight the comedy and ecchi and are incredibly entertaining.

- Both have the same genres; Comedy, Harem, Romance, Shounen. With the exception of Ecchi, School, and Sci-fi on To LOVE-Ru Darkness, and Supernatural on KamiNomi Megami-hen. - Both have main male lead surrounded by lots of females(well, it IS harem anime..) - Both have a really nice plot, unlike other harem anime. - There is no action genre, but both of them have some action parts. - Both anime's art is good. - Both anime's Opening Theme is good. - Both are third season, and the third season's female lead is different than the first and second season.

Similarities: - Both have a the male character loved by many girls (Harem) - Both are of the sci-fi genre - Both have a dense male character - Both a have variety of girls with different personalities - Both have funny scenes and fan service Differences: - IS is a mecha anime where as TLR Darkness is more about aliens - IS has serious fight scenes where as any fight scene in TLR Darkness is more comical

Main characters original love interest is sidelined by a more forward female character

Both HSDxD & TLRD have a male protagonist who is the 'leader' of a harem, surrounded by girls. The reason why I chose Darkness is because it actually had a plot and this season of DxD is probably going to have one aswell ( according to first 2 episodes ) Both have alot of ecchi scenes and powers

They are both: ecchi epic main boy has a shit tone of girls around him To love ru darkness has a storyline but kiss X sis doesn't ooo did i say that they were epic

Both are Ecchi shows focused on harem, comedy and action, they share a similar artstyle too

The MC is in a harem situation and sometimes, they always stumble upon the girls to make an unintentional ecchi poses. Why is Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san and To LOVE-Ru Darkness and not the first To LOVE-Ru because the first part was not so ecchi as the sequel.

if you love watching hentai, but want to watch it in tv series style. You're gonna love to marathon this two series. after "shinmai maou testament" try "to love ru". Both series focus on fan service instead of the story. :D enjoy.

They both are harem anime They both have great female characters who are waifu material. They both have MCs with long hair. Both animes made me wanna kill myself.

Same harem and ecchi, but ichiban has more of a plot, but if you just in it for the ecchi then it shouldn't matter they both have tons of it

The succubus type thing is definitely a similarity. Both have a similar feel as well. To love ru is slightly deeper in a way with a better story and background but both are entertaining in a similar way.

If you like amazing art, wonderful voice acting, engaging supernatural plots and plenty of comedy in your harem anime, then both shows deliver.

Ken and Momo are both trying to build a harem. The difference is that Momo is trying to build a harem (with her in it) for Rito, while Ken is trying to obtain one for himself.

Both seem to have the same mood of happiness while having some sort of hidden action Both are also harem and funny
report Recommended by AnimeAllDay3
Both are harem and really known for the romance Both also have several seasons

Without spoiling to much; Eve from Black Cat and Konjiki no Yami (her real name is even Eve) are COMPLETELY the same. The amount of cliches in Black Cat is equal to the amount of ecchi situations in To Love Ru Darkness.

Both shows have plenty of ecchi, a healthy amount of comedy, and some satisfying action scenes. Omamori Himari has a little more action and To Love-Ru Darkness has more ecchi. However, ecchi enthusiasts will not be disappointed by either show.

These kind female protagonists are formidable pink-haired girls who are protective of the male lead.

Same artist both are very ecchi focused.

Besides sharing similar genres and having great art, both shows have female characters who are weapons that are trying to adjust to society.
report Recommended by shigeru212
Both are harem anime with nudity and dark plots that never get too dark.
report Recommended by shigeru212
The male lead is a very kind, unselfish person and the female lead is very protective of him. Both shows put an emphasis on comedy and fun character interactions but WCW doesn't have ecchi.
