similarities
*both has non-human girls(demons and aliens)
*both have boobs uncensored
*both has some real plot(but the plot in DxD is better)

Both feature the main character surrounded by a plethora of love interests.
Both series feature plenty of "plot" and eyecandy - the uncensored versions are a treat if this is your thing.
Nevertheless, the ecchi-comedy is the highlight & well-done in both series. High School DxD features a lot more fighting, whist To Love-Ru focuses more on high-school interactions.
