Ginga e Kickoff!!

Both of these Anime feature soccer and both aired during the same time frame. 

Similar Because: >Sports (Soccer) Genre >Main Characters Shou and Endou both share some traits (like passion for soccer) and works very hard to complete his team and somehow the furuya triplets resemble Gouenji in a way. *Inazuma Eleven only have supernatural moves and Ginga e kickoff are more realistic.  

its sports anime GEF - soccer ES 21 - football Both start with incomplete team like start with few member but its slowly gain true team by recruit from different team and old member that was quit but join later. Also both anime have feel that made you want to scream happy or expect something cool coming that you cant sit still for sure!!! Both anime was build team without coach until later they found coach that suitable for GEF and ES 21. Also, character and teams was improve after play match against best team in area in beginning. Both team is hard worker to win many games also have fun same time. They don't follow tradition position plays or how to offense and defense because both have their unique special skill in each players in team. read more 

Main characters who are still children, pursue a dream to become the best soccer player/Gunpla team in the world! Very similar atmosphere, characters and all around fun shows. GBF gives off a sports anime feel while still having lots of action.

Younger kids playing soccer, aiming to be the best they'll be. Both main teams start out without a coach, lose (obviously) and then get a coach that makes their teams even better. Main characters are very similar, also both shows have good girl characters. 

A newly formed sports team and coach. Both anime feel "realistic" and do not rely amazing plays (the kind you see professionals do). And the scores are realistic (Yes, they lose points).They use tactics, and the strategies are explained in a way that don't bore you. These two anime make you want more! 

They are both soccer anime and both share the realism and the psychological stories out of the soccer matches, altough the soccer matches are important in both series 

Both of these Anime are sports Anime. The main character is a team member who isn't as good as the others and can be considered the lowest ranked player. However, each brings to the playing field/court something that only they can bring forward. 

Aoki Densetsu Shoot! is definitely better, but if you like soccer, both of these are for you. Aoki is a traditional, old school kind of anime that is just a rollercoaster of emotions. Give it a shot (pun intended) 

I think the main characters are alike, never giving up once they decide of a goal, full of energy and kind to others, always willing to help people in need. Ginga e Kickoff is about soccer while DXW is... well about Digimon, but both feature a group of young boys and girls doing their best, and the themes of friendship and courage have an important place in both. 

Both Anime's feature soccer teams getting a new coach and an attempt to basically revive a team. 

Another soccer anime but with super powers.
