[NO SPOILER HERE]. This is one of the best anime I've ever seen, but only thanks to the animations and the music. Biggest credit goes to the animation crew and its animation director. To be honest, Makoto did a pretty shitty job out of this movie. The animation and sound tracks are beyond extraordinary, but it's so sad that the story is mediocre.

I can guarantee you that this anime has the best animation in the anime history to date. After watching "Tenki no ko" you will know exactly what "breath-taking" mean. Those scenes where Hina calls the sunlight took my breath away (literally, ... It even took me 5 - 6 seconds before realizing I wasn't breathing), especially the full scene when Hina call the sun on top of skyscraper (it's partially shown in the trailer so this is not a spoiler, however the full scene is on a completely different level compared to what you seen in the last few seconds of the trailer)

As for the story, there's a bunch of plot holes and the story in general is just a Your-Name's ripoff. In fact, you can consider "Your Name" as one of this movie spoiler. "Tenki no Ko" 's story was forced into "Your Name" template making everything awkward. Also, because it was "forced" into the template, the story comes out so bad compare to its predecessor.

Would I recommend this movie ? - Definitely a yes. I plan on coming back to watch it on the big screen a second time myself despite the mediocre story. You should watch this movie in cinema, don't wait to watch it online on your tiny computer, because you'd have missed a 20/10 animation amplified by the big screen.
