For people who don't want to read much.
You need to be concentrated from 1st ep if you want to understand hole title, after 14th ep it will be much interesting, trust me. Also don't compare Platinum End with Death Note. Yes, authors of plot are same, but themes aren't the same. First one is Detective, Psychological and second Mythology, Psychological, Survival. So don't be mad if plot isn't same good for you. If you are under age or not familiarized with Psychological topics, don't even try to watch this titles. I could write shorter, but this way you will understand my thoughts better.

In 2020 ... I started to watch anime. One of the first was Death Note. First 10 eps maybe were amazing and after that I dropped with no reason, maybe because detective wasn't my taste.

When I saw announcement (2021) of Platinum End anime adaptation, my first thoughts were like "Wow, it's going to be for sure same good as Death Note...", but this titles are different, because first is detective. So I watched around 9 eps and dropped it, because my expectations were to high.

Around week ago I gave 1 more chance to Death Note, because if I started a title, then it must be complited and didn't do wrong decision. I liked plot a lot, just had to tighten the convolutions.

A day ago I decided to complete Platinum End. I agree that first 12-13 eps aren't good as we wanted, but it was beggining of plot. After 14th ep you need to concentrate on what each character is saying and it was interesting. At all you must concentrate from 1st ep or you will not understand main characters thoughts, also listen to secondary. No comments about ending, because you just need to get "wow" feeling.

In total I think that Platinum End is very good title with deep thoughts. In 2021 I was 17 y.o, to young to understand Psychological topics. Two years gave me progress in understanding psychology, not good as I want, but enough to understand plot. Hope that you got my opinion.
