Giant Killing implys Fighting Goliath as David. Which, you know... works beautifully in story books and happy time movies, because in the end we all just know... that everything will work out just fine...

but the authors in these stories are holding there hands over our eyes... like a filter, letting us see a beautiful side without sadness weakness or pain. In reality Goliath can crush David and really David can't throw the stone because Jill will laugh if he misses and Goliath doesn't face David alone.

This is about a man that grasps those fears about missing with the one shot that you have to ... live or die and shatters them completely, the one person who is able to pull together a whirlwind of broken people with crushed hopes and slandered dreams to form a cohesive unit and then enable them to be able to step forth as individuals to slaughter each members own oppressive Goliath.

Sigh ye not!! This is no novella with a mystical scandivanian Valykrie that scours society and forces the people to follow the right person unquestionably.

Giant Killing is about a leader that steps into a hostile and broken environment and chinks together the pieces through leadership, intelligence and logic. There is nothing magical about Giant Killing, it's a story that is so real that it opens your eyes so that you can actually see the depths of what is happening. The mindsets conveys more words than a thousand page essay. Every word brings meaning and every characters eye seeks hope.

To everyone in this story the main character is the main character. He is the larger than life Hero that this tiny world is revolving around and he is shaking the foundations of a once miserable soccer society bringing change against the odds, adding kindling to the hearts of the former believers, and starting the fire to establish one roaring inferno of a soccer team.

There is no clear cut ending, there will be tragedy before victory and death before life. There will be shattered dreams, crushed ego's and a persistence to carry through and fight on. I hope it never ends.

I love it.

Writing a review for Katanagatari wasn't easy. In the end I decided to divide this review into two, episodes 1-3 and then 4.

Up until episode 4 Katanagatari was pathetic,

To begin with the ART

Oh god the art, others who have watched this anime will claim that in spite of all the downsides including the dumb story, the pathetic characters and substandard mediocre villains, viewers will claim the artwork is amazing.

In one of my favorite arcs in Naruto, the developers used a similar animating style with a very powerful effect.

Art work of this type has one point it really shows the explosive intensity of the conflict ... to great effect as in Naruto. Katanagatari FAIL.

Limping along to the characters, the guy who has lived on an island his entire life, has a penchance for maple leave styled haircuts and skirts who is at the same time the comedic relief and the Warrior , the other is the other character that happens to be female that isn't interesting.

The final stinging point of Katanagatari is the plot line.

The story heads in one direction, but it's like looking down a very long highway that you can see the end too, it might meander a bit , but eventually it will go right to the expected destination and still suck.

Then I watched the fourth episode, and all of a sudden you realize how deep and dangerous this world is, it is plagued with decay, frustration, sadness and death, and all of a sudden what was simple straightforward and seemingly designed for children became virulent hateful and murderous.

All of a sudden the character I believed to be the comic relief shit character I started to realize is a prisoner of his own mind... there is depth, and it has built up behind a horrible horrible wall and when the truth smashes it's way out I want to be there to see it.

There are few animes that force me to wait for the episode in some state of anticipation, but I'm really looking forward to the next episode.

Ever see an anime where it looks like the animator used stickers on a blue background? Well, neither had I but I guess the purpose of Rosario + Vampire is to explore interpersonal relationships.

After failing in life , some opportunistic douche makes the magic happen when he happens upon a broken super model highschool student who has been psychologically scarred by perpetually traumatic high school experiences.

Turns out this girl is a crack ho for human blood, and a relationship develops based on some truly unique dealer/ho dynamics.

Fun ensues when other girls start to wonder why this total ... babe is hanging all over this outrageously weak dipshit who is not only failing in his new highschool, he is notably weaker than everyone else.

Despite a truly outrageous story line, Rosario + Vampire has its very cute moments, but that is definitely over whelmed by crappy artwork , repetitive plot, and unfunny forced jokes.

Don't watch Rosario + Vampire it sucks.

This is the single worst anime I have ever seen, it sucks, there is not one single redeeming feature in it other than the art work, I mean seriously this is a terrible freaking anime.

All of the characters look like they belong in an anime , you know huge desu desu eyes and with the Girl characters it doesn't matter if they are 10 or 85, they have Double D Breasts; and by the way all these 80 pound knocker vapid brain creatures are obssesed over the shit weak willed main character that sucks ass and whines like a panzy every time ... anything requiring any level of backbone comes up until eventually by the power of stupid , the anime twists and turns any level of consistency until these stupid characters end up at the top of the world.

The story rips off neon genesis evangelion, and rather than just trying to pull off a tribute, its full of bullshit, new development , WOW shit side plots and the tribute ends up being a parody that isn't funny or interesting.

To reemphasize , this is probably one of the most terrible animes I have ever seen, I felt like stabbing myself in the eye with a fork after episode one, but by the end of it I realized that the anime itself had rendered me nearly completely catatonic, considering that I was stuttering in a pile of my own drool waiving my hands about wildly in search of sharp objects.

Don't watch this pile of horseshit. It sucks ass.

13 Episodes of Utter Beauty.

I've seen 90 anime and this is in my top five.

Words to describe Baccano:
Bloody , Violent, Sick, Sadistic, Beautiful, Sad, Happy, Twisted, Cruel, Funny, Crass, Hell Raising and Eye Crossing out of this world amazing.

Ever see an Anime that makes you rethink what was possible in anime. Aside from a select few others it is the only one I'll ever give a ten across the board,

Story 10-
The story is beyond complex, yet it beautiful in it's simplicity there are at least as many subplots as there are main characters, Every Line adds Depth, Every movement adds character every twist makes you want to learn more.

Art 10-
On a scale of 1 to 10 , baccano deserves an eleven, the art is fucking cool, it's crisp it's clean, it doesn't take over but merges into a larger flow.

Sound 10-
The Jazz is better than Trigun.

Character 10-
The characters , wow, the characters I love every single one there are 11 of them, each with there own personality that you have to know more about, this is the best character development in an anime that I have ever seen.

Enjoyement 10-
I loved every second of it, I was astounded by how dumbstruck it left me.

Overall-
Baccano is the unsung Hero of Animated Win.

If your friends tell you that they hate anime, make 'em watch baccano.

With a name like FULL METAL PANIC, I wasn't expecting anything but fan service shit

surprisingly

the story is very cool and very likable,

it has a pleasant mixture of fan service and serious plot, the serious plot compares to a game of chess, with both sides more or less evenly matched, and the winner gets the strategic "prize", unique bimbo characters born with a special understanding of the higher functioning of any machine.

The characters were a disappointment for me, the easiest way to describe the main character is assbergers, and with every assbergers character in anime there is a "model potential" girl character who ... caters hand and foot to the assberger laden main character to try and get his attention. Other characters follow the cookie cuter code of anime, the seductor pretty boy that fails at everything except comic relief for the viewer and the older "lady" that secretly cares about all of her crew mates even though she's a cunt and finally the emotionally unready to command "prize piece" higher functioning 16 year old.

The best character is the bad guy, he is a dick, he will kill lie cheat steal and stab you in the back to get what he wants and he will have fun at the same time.

The art was able to demonstrate the awesomeness of the tide shifting battle abilities that the rare mech's had. The underwater fight scenes are also very detailed and cool.

There are times when the setting just goes out into left field, yet because I did enjoy the story so much , I will simply assume that it is because I am not a high ranking military official that I don't know of the secret american chemical warfare base 10 miles off the coast of Japan.

In Conclusion, Full Metal Panic was good, I would happily recommend it to anyone because even though it lacked depth it was a very enjoyable anime over all.

Outlaw Star is a very "user friendly" anime. Nobody will hate it, and I don't think anybody will choose it as an absolute favorite, but it is most definitely a classic.

The story is very good, there are multiple plots, and to catch on to all of them you've got to pay attention to the emotional cues.

The art worked together with the anime to show the sense of urgency of quick decisions much better than many of the animes I have seen.

The characters are very good, they stick well with there given personality, although oddly enough the best character says the least yet ... has the largest effect on the group.

Overall the anime is worth a watch, it is a very coherent anime, the characters work well together, the enjoyment is there and the art is great.

T.O. is an anime that is designed to be pretty, and it is, the Computer Graphics(CG) is over the top wow.The story does however fade against the awesome artwork, it's only two episodes, so if you're interested in something soothing before falling asleep, this will help.

on a 1-10 scale , this gets an 11, absolutely gorgeous, remarkable CG

I wouldn't watch it again, but it was very pretty, and I didn't dislike anything about it.

Remember those crappy teachers from Middle School who made the day long and classes suck.

Now imagine you've walked into homeroom and you're greated by a teacher that introduces himself with " I'm Great Teacher Onizuka, I'm 22 and single." and he's wearing a cut off t shirt and jeans.

It's hard to talk about GTO without delving into the complex nature of human relationships, mob mentality and social psychology.

It's not as straightforward as most animus, but there is a very clear purpose and direction that the series is heading in.

Easily 10, I burned right through this series, I really wish they were still putting out GTO manga.

Awesome, fun , enjoyable , cool characters and the story was damn cool.

I recommend GTO to anyone, I recommend the manga before watching the anime.

BANG POW CRASH SMUSH , Genshiken avoids the cliches and focuses instead on the reality, this isn't a series about spectacular super human ninjas that were injected with magical fox semen, it's about the otaku subculture in Japan, it's about the people that are the otaku's and the choices they make , there goals ambitions lifestyles failures and successes. Watching this series, which is hard to get into unless you've read the manga ( Doujin Work ) you really start rooting for the characters, when things happen you hold your mouth in shock, you feel the jealousy and taste the dislike in the back ... of your throat it's really an anime that pulls you in and keeps you there with humor , intelligence , games , hatred and love.

I love the story, I think it's very interesting it's fun to watch and doesn't obsess over concepts... things develop , but it doesn't really seem to go anywhere, except that the characters are aging.
