You kidding me? No one sees this? The male protagonist in either series is a straight-shot-non-perverse-gentleman who despite his ultimately pure motives is encroached on by lustful females. He is non paradoxical as he was always a good guy, not just for plots sake like other harems.

...then you might like Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai add

Both shows illustrate how a guy whose life is going nowhere get exciting due to a girl (or girls). Both shows show said guy doing some pretty ridiculous things for said girl(s). But be aware of (long title)'s strange brother-sister complex. It's not incest, but it gets uncomfortably close a couple of times.

If you liked Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha add

...then you might like Durarara!! add

Both Anime's are extremely dark, both have powerful plots that are hard to recognize at first. Like "Durarara!!" "Daker than Black" has a very scattered plot at first and the later episodes tie it all together, making even things that seemed to be fillers tie directly into the plot.
