When this anime first came out , a friend gave me the novel called "Isekai Shoukan wa Nidome desu" (summoned to another world for a second time )
The novel was actually decent , had good plot and world building and i had some hope that the anime adaptation will follow the novel alas ,somehow the anime managed to skip over everything that was good about the story from the novel and rushed the whole story while also changing some key elements that makes the story completely feel different
in the novel , there were actually a lot of interesting and thrilling fight scenes which contributed

to the story and captivated the reader these fights would surely have had a way more positive look on the anime and all the missing story elements just adds to the frustration
the anime somehow managed to retain all the uninteresting/filler parts of the story rather than the actual story and then also changed the entire ending
SORRY ABOUT MY RANT
FOR THOSE WHO ARE WONDERING, This is how the war ended in the novel
toma acquired a thing called sealing stone in which the god of creation was sealed centuries ago and to break the seal he needed the blood of sky god - dezaz , sea god - levia and earth god who was an accomplice of toma
during the fight setsu accidentally kills a man and is then suddenly enveloped in a sphere of white light and is then reminded why he doesnt kill people by his mother and also about the fact that setsu was reborn with the same name and with his memories intact and why he still doesnt like to kill people even though he erased his memories of his first life using his sacred sword gluttony (happened during a fight) but he still somehow doesnt want to kill people because the words of his mother is etched into his soul and the he has a conversation with his mother , then realised he should help toma
at the same time , earth god got the blood of sky god and sea god and managed to break the seal on the god of creation and she started to attack setsu's friends
that is how the war ended
later setsu fights the god of creation , almost dies and is rescued by the god destruction and he is explained a lot about this world and he then starts training to try and kill/seal the god of creation in order to save the world and after the fight with the god of creation , both of them are sent to hell / domain of the god of death (it was the god of destruction's idea to take the other god and leave to die) after which they both get kicked out from hell and it is revealed that setsu's mother is the god of death and since setsu has acquired the powers of the god of death , he can no longer stay in this world and he must spend the rest of his time with his mother in hell
