xxxHolic is a pritty good manga and one of the masterpieces of Clamp. That said, everyone that is a fan of Clamp, should know and should be reading this manga. For the rest of the community of readers out there, like me, should give it a try to see if this manga is your taste, even if you dont like Tsubasa Chronicle. This manga shows a different perspective of Tsubasa Chronicle. Therefore, you will see characters showing up in this manga once in a while.
The main story goes around a shop that grants your wish in exchange of something. And everyone that has a
...
wish will be able to enter to this shop. It may look simple but its very complicated. Simple as, if your wish is big then the price will be huge. And complicated as, your wish not always goes as you plan it to and sometimes if you dont realize whats happening, then it will turn very ugly. Moreover, every wish comes with some consequence and responsibility. The manga starts slow trying to explain important aspects such as having a name, destiny, wishes, and change. The story gets very complicated as the story progress and it is easy to notice that
If anyone have seen Clamp's manga, like Sakura cardcapter, then you already know how the art/drawing is. My interpretation of Clamp art is that they make it very elegant and sometimes way to elegant with flashy, puffy, good looking art. Of course, this is mainly for girls and teenagers.
The characters are very well made. Each character is special and has its own qualities. Watanuki is the main character of this manga. Even though he doesnt know it, he is part of something big, as you may have notice from the clues and words from Yuuko that made you wonder whats happening behind the scenes.
Overall, I should say that this manga is great, but I get the feeling that its to classic or its easy to predict the ending (maybe I am reading to much mangas this days).
Oh, btw, if you really liked it, give a try at Tsubasa Chronicles to fully understand what is happening.
I hope you enjoy it and fall in love with Yuuko, hahah...

NANA is a great romantic/dramatic manga. NANA also have some funny moments. The manga is about two girls with the same name, Nana, and they meet by fate and eventually become best friends. Even though they are best friends, their life take a twist and they are separated by fame, husband, boyfriend, and work. This manga shows the world of the entertainment industry and it focus it on bands and music and a bit of adult movie but that its later on the manga.
NANA starts out as people trying to pursue their dreams. What's more important for an singer/band/model: Follow their dreams or their loved
...
one?
The decision is very hard on the characters; and each character walks a different path. Its about friends and love being separated by their choices.
The character in this manga is awesome. Everyone with a different style and background. Everyone with problems with love, passion, work and romance. And because its about the intertainment industry, it has a little bit about everything. I dont want to write it out because I think I will ruin/spoil the manga.
Oh yeah, I think this was my first shoujo a friend of my recommended it to me and I loved it. Somehow I skipped the first volume and started reading the second volume and I still got the story =P.
I really love this manga and the way it starts every chapter, with words like, "Do you remember Nana, the day . . . if it was not because you stayed by my side . . ."
I really recommend this manga.

Gantz is a masterpiece in my opinion. Even though I love this manga, this manga is definite not for everyone. This manga contain sex scenes, blood, blood and more blood, naked girls/monsters with supernatural and technological twist to everything.
However if you can stand all of the above then, this manga is for you. The manga is about killing aliens with incredible suits, weapon, vehicles and with everything you can think of. The alien are not just standing there doing nothing, the monsters are strong and sometimes, they are way to strong, and makes you wonder if they can be killed or not. From human size
...
alien that move an uses crazy fire or thunder power to dinasaurs with thousands of eyes to temple statues.
Gantz is about a ball that save randomly the memory of someone that dies in any particular way and transfer the memory and created a clone and used it to fight the monster. Its like giving you a second chance but with one mission in mind, Kill and Survive.
All the characters that stay long enough all they think is surviving. They all fight to survive not because they are afraid of dying, but because they still have something important to accomplish or they still have someone waiting for them every day or night.
I see Gantz as a test for survival. If you really really cant die now, then you fight, you fight like never before, like there may be no tomorrow for you. You will fight as a team or fight alone, its the same but you should just stay alive for just one more night.
This manga story is very complicated and even though it has +274 chapters, most of the facts around Gantz is still unknown. If you like all of the above, you should give it a try to this masterpiece =P
Oh btw, Gantz starts with a very unliked character but at the same time with a tremendous will to survive.

Shin Angyo Onshi is a great manwha.
It took me a while to find this manwha. It is not the typical popular manga that will just pop out and attract your attention. I saw it in the top and give it a try. I remember reading the begining of this manwha, a couple of years ago but it was still in translation and in that time there was only a couple of chapters. Now that I can get a hold to all the chapters (with the extra pages in the forum).
Shin Angyo is about a long adventure of a our hero, Munsu. He is similar and
...
at the same time very diferent from other main characters in other mangas. His past is full of glory, sadness, illusion and love. His mission is to bring "justice" to the land and to eventually end up fighting with his enemy, Aji Tae who destroyed everything he had fight for.
However, the word justice and the difference between right and wrong is one of the themes that keep me engage reading chapter after chapter till the end. Two different aspect of justice battle against each other. I personally like the ideology of Aji Tae but Munsu's ideology is the one that can set peace and order in a chaotic word.
The characters are something I really end up loving. Good or bad, everyone represent a twisted side of this word. Good people turning into bad, bad turning into good. I know that in many mangas, bad people sometimes turns out to be good ones but in this manga, it really fits the story and ideology behind it. "No matter how bad someone is, the truth never changes."
I really enjoyed reading this manwha. The art was pritty outstanding. I loved the way the story is told: the story of General Munsu.
I will always remember Munsu ideology with the words, "However much it is soiled by the earth, snow is still white."
