my first ever review, here i go!
A blend of dark romance, horror, mystery, and comedy. which are my favorite genres to read. aono-kun no sawaritai kara shinitai did an amazing job in blending those genres together in story and art, the transmission from a genre moment into a different genre moment was smooth and doesn't feel out of place or forced at all. the simple artstyle fits the transmission of genre where it can get funny to creepy instantly and smoothly.
the story itself kept me hooked with more and more mystery to solve. I can't really go into details to avoid spoilers. What i love
...
the most about the story is that it's not generic at all, when i first read it i thought it would be one of those fluffy romantic story between the girl and a ghost boyfriend, but nope lol it turns dark and creepy, and when i thought it would be one of those spirit story setting, it's not. the way the story goes is not easily predicted at all.
the art itself could use improvement, but overall it actually fits the story setting. it's simple yet creepy. very nice.
the characters are amazing, i love the characters development so far. it's balanced, every character have their own development and affect the story in their own way.
overall i really enjoy it, this is very underrated so i guess that's why the translation is quite slow? btw i can't find anymore english translated chapters after chapter 15 so i had to buy the manga on play store.
