In a sense, I Love You Baby feels kind of like Hibi Chouchou Jr. The main characters are younger, but their relationship gives off a similar vibe, with both being quite shy and inexperienced and the main female character being afraid of men, yet attracting unwanted attention from guys on a regular basis. Also, the main male character practices a martial art and is very good at it, though he struggles to be the best and has someone he just can't seem to beat/someone he looks up to that he doesn't seem to compare to, at least in his own mind. (Those may not be the same person, unlike in HC.) Both feature slow paced, sweet romance.

Otome Youkai Zakuro is also a great show with a wonderful romance and strong action!
