Short Cake Cake is a cute manga you can easily read to pass your time. It starts off decent, with a cute protagonist, and honestly, that was enough for me.
I think it's just a personal thing, but I didn't really like the way the characters developed. I think they just changed too much from the ones I fell in love with at first (including the art, I miss the early design for Ten). However, I kept reading bc I still really loved MC. In the end, I did quite like the reconciliation arc.
