Read and completed this in a couple of hours basically, it was quite a ride.
I would say this was definitely worth the read if you enjoy horror/seinen but if you abhor bad endings then this will fuck your emotions up because you'll just say "damn I read 89 chapters just for this garbage ending?" Either way, I'm still glad I read it but yeah wish that ending was adjusted.
Story: 10
I enjoy post-apocalyptic stories/settings because it delves into the topic of morality when it comes to humans being in life or death situations and how would they react in certain ways. Overall, the plot didn't
...
really have any flaws except near the end when it reaches the Tokyo arc because it develops into quite a mind-fuck.
Art: 10
The art was very, very good - no complaints, no adjustments etc etc.
Characters: 9ish-10
The two main characters, Teru and Ako, were amazing and you could feel their relationship developing and how much they depending on each other as the story progresses. Other characters weren't really much of a hinderance to me, a lot of them were underaged either way, but I wouldn't say the characters were the biggest letdown of this series because the ending is just what ruined everything for me.
Enjoyment: 10
Like I said before, the story's post-apocalyptic setting accommodated my tastes and interests so I enjoyed this very much despite me wanting to get it over with once the last arc came along since there were some things that were just repeated (the theme of fear) which sort of made me jaded with the story as it concluded.
Overall: 9
This would've been a 10 if only the ending was proper and wasn't ambiguous. In all honesty, I read a review prior to finishing the manga and said that the ending was terrible (which I agree with). Once you get to like the last two arcs is when you start to realize some things are just constantly repeated and the concept of incorporating those self-mutilated people didn't really serve as a purpose for me - I guess it was just to still reiterate the theme of fear but at the same time it was redundant and I just wanted the story to just shut up about it. Anyway, the ending is pretty bittersweet and I wish it would've ended more better as in everything resolving itself but at least only one good thing happened even though that wasn't even progressed either since it literally ended with Teru just saying some words.
Take care and enjoy

Alright, it's 3 AM and I'm bored so I figured why not give this wonderful anime a review.
*Note:This is my third review of a series and I'm not too keen on these, so bear with me. Also if there are typos it's out of my control because of this shitty keyboard and my tendency to type fast, now lets get started shall we?
*Minor/Minimal spoilers trust me ;3
Story:9-9.5ish/10
The story's concept is not difficult to comprehend, or understand. It's just about an alternate world, or the "Afterlife", that our main protagonist, Otonashi finds himself in after learning that he has died, later on regaining his memory
...
that it was from the aftermath of a train accident. For a person who likes ecchi/harems myself, I can't get enough of them lol, this was something "new" to try I guess and I had difficulty grasping the story and its plot, as someone said before : "Angel Beats is not for everyone". I wouldn't say it was a gradual process but once you see the first ep and the events that occur, you should have no problem in understanding what the overall plot is about: And that is just people whose souls are not at rest yet after their unfortunate deaths, after leading unfortunate and harsh lives themselves, and are trying to accomplish the tasks of what they regret of not doing during their previous life. Overall, the story should be able to captivate you in some way enough for you not to subsequently drop this show xD
Art: 8/10
I don't really pay mind to an anime's art design, unless it's like Aku no Hana's thrn that's when you have a problem lol, but in my honest opinion, it wasn't an eyesore and not too bad/overdone. Once again, I don't really care for it and neither should you as in terms of not watching the show because of something that isn't really bad or an overkill.
Sound: 10/10
The show had its fair share of displaying good music throughout the entire show, even though I did not like GDM(the girl band in the show)'s music. Not much to say really lol
Character: 10/10
This is one show that I've found to be very fond of the characters. Each character had their own personalities, stories, and resolve that I found to be tolerable because it also supplied its own share in the comedic moments in the show as well :) Yui, Hinata, and Shiina were my favorite ones especially :3
Enjoyment: 10/10
Don't get me wrong, every show has its faults, and that's what this show also had. However the enjoyment on this one is high because of the whole aspect of the show and how it intrigued me from the start. This show is capable of at least making you laugh once and if it doesn't then fuck off :D(lel jk)
Overall: 10/10
If you've seen my list, or read my bio, then you are completely aware that I have disregard for ratings. I'm a lazy baka and I don't really care for giving a genuine rating, and this is probably the first and last time I'm ever doing this. But this show is something else, it is actually riveting and really enjoyable, and actually lives up to its hype, fame, and recognition.
Why haven't you started on this show already? Get to it :D
This concludes this yoloswag guy's review. Thanks for reading :)
-swag out.

Alright I guess I should make a review for this, since I finished this show like early in the morning before school lol
Anyways, this show is really great. Even though it does have its own boundaries on whether to decide it's ecchi or hentai, the story, plot, and characters overall were great. I really enjoyed this show because I found the whole love story between Ako, Riko, and Keita enjoyable and great, even though at some points it was overwhelming because of what Ako and Riko would actually do just to make Keita happy, and it shows how they really do care for him/love him
...
very deeply, which is pretty easy to understand the whole concept of the show lol
I would not label this as incest, in my own professional opinion, because they really aren't related in any way, by blood of course, but many other people have their own sides/disputes on it in labeling it as incest.
Overall, 10/10 amazing show :D

Well this is my first time giving a review lol but here it goes. (warning it's pretty long)
The anime overall was great in my opinion, the characters plot etc... but the only thing that got me was the whole incest background when I first discovered about this show on a youtube video. At first I was hesitant about it but I was bored and gave it a go, the first ep was fantastic and the ending of the first ep to the beginning of the second ep was disappointing at first but w/e lol. Anyways the show is really, really good and anyone should try
...
it out for a change, again the whole plot thing is kinda awkward because of the incest, or if they're just curious about what happens. Sora is really cute imo and I'm glad her and Haru are together, despite the fact they're fraternal twins and how the whole incest subject is viewed in the show(and irl). The ending was kind of corny but overall the show gets a 10/10 from me :) Enjoy if you're a first time viewer!
