It's a shame, because this anime could have been so good.
But there is a limit on just how many loose ends you can leave at the ending of a series. Preferably, you leave none. Loveless left all of them! I do not know what happened here, it seriously feels as though the second half of this anime was just chopped off. It's more like a 12-episode advertisement for the manga than a proper series, setting up a promising story and then leaving you utterly unsatisfied so that you have to go and read if you want to find any kind of resolution to the

First review; sorry if it's a little all over the place.
Aside from a little light romance, don't expect anything particularly new in this second season. I considered it basically as bonus material for those of us who really enjoyed season 1. I liked that you could see a difference in the characters right away; they had gotten taller, a little more adult in appearance. Or in Satsuki's case, a great deal more flamboyant in appearance. Dear Miya is back and more obnoxious than ever. What, you didn't think was possible? Think again. The new opening song... I liked it, but was a very definite ... |
