I honestly started watching Gintama because I heard that it has good comedy and I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary from it, but after a while I fell in love with this series. No anime could make me feel all these emotions, but Gintama. At first glance, Gintama doesn't look special. but let me tell you something; Gintama is a treasure, a piece of art, no I am not even exaggerating at all. Everything was beyond my expectations. about to cry and then, I would laugh at what was happening. Gintama is seriously turning me into a bipolar. You can't predict what will happen in this anime, seriously. I recommend Gintama to someone who has at least some kind of experience with anime because Gintama has a lot of reference to other anime, and it makes it funnier if you know what they are doing. I have to add that the humor in Gintama is really original, I mean, everything in Gintama is. Gintama has serious arcs and less serious ones, but you can't hate those random funny episodes because they are actually important as well; they are part of the plot.
All this to say that: GINTAMA WILL FOREVER BE MY FAVORITE ANIME, that's huge because like I said, I have a high standard. I want more people to know about Gintama and laugh with me because laughter is the best medicine! Also, you absolutely have to watch the last movie of Gintama after you finished the anime because it's AWESOME! Best movie I've seen so far!
