Preliminary (5/12 eps)
It's a season sequel, so it's pretty great.

Honestly, in my opinion, the first season was alright. I didn't feel like it stood out too much, it was just another seasonal anime I would watch.

However, the second season is really something different. From the first episode, there was something just off compared to the first season. In my eyes, there was an upgrade all of a sudden. It's possible it was just Hayasaka's arc. It's possible the studio just improved on the series. Something felt different, and I knew it was a change for the better.

Really enjoying the second season so far! It's quirky, funny, it ...

Preliminary (6/13 eps)
To start off, this series is going great so far.

It's not often we get to see an anime based off a Webtoon, but this is definitely a shining example of how an adaptation of a Webtoon should be done. Reading Tower of God, it was really amazing to go through the pages and enjoy each and every panel. Seeing those panels get animated really is something. From the very first episode, every aspect of the anime is done so well. Mostly, anyways.

The art style is something unique, it's not a style you'd see every season, and it's really refreshing to see something different once in ...

They say it's 5 centimeters per second.

What is?

The rate of which the cherry blossoms fall.

5cm per second. A personal favorite of mine from Makoto Shinkai. Why so? On the outside, it just seems like a realistic-ish anime with no special appeals whatsoever. If that is what you think, then you're correct. It is realistic, and it does seem like there is no appeal at all whatsoever with this anime. However, it's really something that you'll have to dig down in order to understand more.

On the outside, it's another romance anime, and that's not wrong. However, this film somehow successfully gives a wonderful flurry of emotions, ...

Preliminary (4/8 eps)
Well, I mean, it's just some commercials with a collaboration to Tenki no Ko, nothing special. Still, reading some of the previous reviews, it did pique my interest.

So I watched it, still rewatched it, and still enjoyed it. I guess if you've got some time to spare, then go ahead and watch these. It uses some animations and some songs from the movie, so it's pretty enjoyable to watch. It's eye-catching, it brings about some feelings from the movie, and it's really fun to watch. I liked the Softbank ad the most, they were pretty good. Also, the Suntory ad did make me want to ...

Id:Invaded (Anime) add
Not going to lie, I dived into this anime expecting nothing new, nor unique, and just as a way to pass some time.

What I didn't expect was an experience and a story that would blow me away in terms of writing and story telling.

The story isn't something you'd expect, it's got quite an interesting premise to it. I was a bit skeptical before watching this, but by episode one, I was instantly hooked. The first episode was amazing, the direction it took and the way it was animated really made anticipation for the overall show much more interesting. The characters are well done as well; ...

Tenki no Ko (Anime) add
One of the best movies I've watched, for sure.

Just like most, Kimi no na wa had an impact for many people, leaving behind a void we try to fill with other shows. This show fills that void, and leaves the usual void within you, but this time much bigger. Deciding if this is better or Kimi no na wa is better is definitely something that cannot be done, because there are just so many excellent aspects both films handle extremely well.

The story is outstanding. It's nothing extremely thought provoking, nor is it new, but it's written extremely well, as expected of Makoto Shinkai. Nothing needs ...

Hello World (Anime) add
This was definitely a strange, yet breathtaking film to watch.

The first time I saw it, I didn't watch any trailers or clips prior to my viewing, so the art style was definitely a surprise. It was a bit different and unfamiliar at first, but I continued watching, and found myself immersed in an experience that was rather different than usual.

The story itself was well written into a way that would make you question your existence and life. It's just really thought provoking, and it makes you think about life. The sound, the art, everything was well done into a way that you'd forget the art ...

Looking back at this show in 2020, it's still amazing.

It's a real judge the book by its cover with this anime, because the animation may be an incentive for some to drop it, but it really shouldn't be dropped just because of it. Nobunaga Concerto, in my opinion, is an amazing hidden gem, because of the excellent story telling, the quirky jokes they make from time to time, and of course, the absolutely well done ED theme. It's definitely highly recommended to watch this, especially when you feel lost with all the endless new shows flooding you.

An overall 10, just because of how unique and ...
