Minor Spoilers I guess:
Black Clover was the first anime that I watched, which was longer than 24 episodes. It can be compared to other typical Shounen anime; the protagonist being born without any magical powers, having big dreams that seem impossible to achieve and then working their way up to turn their dreams into reality.
Similar to many others, who dropped Black Clover because of the first couple of episodes, I found Asta a little bit annoying in the beginning. But his yelling didn't demotivate me to continue with Black Clover, whereas others use that as a reason to drop the anime. In my opinion, Asta
...
develops into a very likeable character, and he and his yelling become less and less annoying, to the point where him yelling adds to his charms as a character.
Another aspect of the show that many anime-watchers criticise is its animations. After watching all of Black Clover I can say that this statement is somewhat true. When not in battles, Black Clover lacks in animations, sometimes making Asta and other characters look different from episode to episode. However, generally during fights, the animations are very well done and immerse the audience into the fights. I wouldn't say that the "bad" animations are a reason to not watch Black Clover. I had a great time watching it, I became attached to nearly all of the good characters and in the end you will just have to watch it and find out for yourself, whether it is something you will enjoy or not.
