Probably, argueabley, in my opinion, my favorite Shinkai film that I've seen so far. Your name was alright but it just wasn't clicking for me and I was a bit bored. Garden of Words was alright but again, I just couldn't really understand, but this is what made me cry. The deep amount of emotion and development on the characters is great and they are genuinely enjoyable. There are some minor popular tropes like the stereotypical "girl is being attacked but guy saves her and they eventually develop feelings" in it which is what made the character and story rating for me a 9 instead of a 10. The art is absolutely incredible, I just can't put into proper words. Firstly when the the rain girl (forgot her name, oopsies) did the "rain stop pls lol" thing earlier in the movie. I don't think I have to even explain, easily a 10. Just.. 10.
