When you see an anime tagged as Seinen, you expect some kind of depth to the story, as the target audience is basically adults. While there is some depth to it (considering the topic it revolves around), still, it felt more like a Shounen anime aspiring to be Shoujo.
Topics like forbidden love are interesting because you get to see characters dealing with heavy obstacles and how they overcome them. Together in this case. It works when there's depth to each character, they are obligated to think about situations and solutions while working their way towards their happiness. Well, none of it happens here. While I
...
recognize this anime isn't tagged as drama, it's disappointing to see 90% of the time their response to anything is "uhm". That's it. They both go along with the flow basically, but at least it never escalates to cheating. Considering how innocent and indecisive both of them are, it'd be nice to see how they got married in the first place, how they were able to fall in love with each other, but we are not blessed with that information.
To touch on the aspect of ecchi, there's a few fanservice here and there, most of the time used as an integral part of the story. There isn't a LOT of it and it is tasteful. Except for the super horny neighbor child. To be fair, he only does his shenanigans for a few episodes and it's not overwhelming, but you don't expect to see that in a Seinen anime.
All in all, it's a really sweet anime, with nice and decent characters and some development for the side characters. If you fancy seeing how much a couple love and look out for each other, you'll find joy in every episode. Honestly, if it weren't for all the "uhm" responses and the super horny kid moments, I'd have rated this one a 9.

We live in an era where the genre of 'shounen harem romcom' (yes, I consider it a genre on its own) is going extinct, alongside ecchi, so it was delightful to see a new entry released. To my positive surprise, it carries along most of the major tropes of said genre and if you are a fan of it like myself, you are definitely going to enjoy this anime. I only find it lackluster on 2 fields: a girl with proper tsundere personality and ecchi that is worthy of Rating: R+ - Mild Nudity . There IS a girl with tsundere-like properties, but... to come
...
with an analogy: mandarine looks like orange, but it's still mandarine. I hope it makes sense. As for the ecchi aspect, for the rating the anime has, they are very shy about it. Sure, there are about 3 short scenes that kind of justifies the rating, but most of them are only hinted. At some points there's even legit censorship effect. I don't know how ecchi became a cardinal sin over the years, but if they decide to make ecchi anime, they should do it properly instead of leaving so much to one's imagination. Speaking of tags, the page of this anime could also use a 'drama' tag. Not going to elaborate much. Drama is not dominant but there's enough to poke your feelings.
If you are looking for some fun shounen harem romcom experience, this anime delivers in my opinion. It has consistent writing and a proper satisfying ending. It's not as good as they were generally used to be, but still very good.

I started watching this anime expecting it to try to make me cry by the end (i.e a story of drama), ended up surprised, but not disappointed. It is basically one of those rather "chill anime" that aren't filled with constant chain of various eventful actions, but still manage to keep you intrigued and look forward to what's going happen next. That being said, it's not filled with those random events (if you've watched plenty of anime by now, you know what I mean), it's not overly dramatized, instead, it has a consistent - but not predictable - flow of events, like a brook, with
...
proper development of characters and feelings that makes you feel involved and immersed.
Just Cause is a well-rounded, balanced romance anime. It doesn't feel perfect, but it does leave you fulfilled and you will want to rewatch it in the future. I certainly will rewatch for sure. Especially considering that it's an original series, not an adaptation, it's very impressive. The only aspect that may bother you is the visuals. While the animations never felt off, the art itself sometimes did.

This series is a Spanish soap opera hit by a Japanizing beam. In highschool.
I'm the type of person who prefers their romantic story to be more linear, where I'm aware of the conclusion (roughly ofc), so I'm watching for the journey that leads to it. That being said, as much as I hate to admit it, this series intrigued me so much I ended up binge watching it. Is it worth it? Well, up until the last episode, I was ready to say yes and rate this one a strong-ish 9.
This story revolves around a love triangle, more or less constant back-and-forths of feelings between
...
2 guys. While I'm not a fan of this, the story was reasonable, it was consistent, it showed me so many different emotions and relationships, from the superficial ones to the most in-depth ones. The early parts felt miserable, but all in all it was fun. But I feel like it was dragged on for too long, the back-and-forths were twisted too much until literally everyone felt as annihilated as possible. Like when a visual novel adaptation chooses the worst possible route in the game. I know these people are just a bunch of codes and pixels and such a story certainly satisfies the needs of those viewers who love their drama as big as humanly possible, but the writer should have some consideration to their feelings. The excitement gets killed when you just try hard to max out the number of the twists you can possibly add. It was saved by the last few episodes, a certain kind of scenario and situation everyone was waiting for had finally come, the epilogue phase has begun, the viewer is finally pleased, the story is concluded! ....... or so you thought, but no, they had to add one final twist! Considering the very ending planned to all this, it makes sense, I liked the idea, normally I'd call it romantic and smile about it in tears, but this ending is not suitable for such an overly dragged and twisted story. I just lost all the interest and immersion I had.
If you decided to read my review and made it this far, I have to say, that despite my utter dissatisfaction, I can recommend you to watch this anime once. If it weren't for the last part, it'd be easily something I can rewatch multiple times, but even like this, it is worth to watch it once.

tl;dr: if you enjoyed the first two seasons, you are going to enjoy this one as well
The first 4-5 episodes felt pretty slow and weird (I can't put my finger on exactly how it could have been better) and some conclusions I've seen were concerning as if they were just looking to quickly wrap up the series. If it was another 25 eps long season (so perhaps if they waited more for the source material to progress), it would much easier to swallow. To be fair, though, they gave us a little bit of everything and the season came to a very good ending, in
...
terms of content, so for a season of comeback, I believe it is satisfying and is underrated generally. That being said, there must be at least one more season released in the future, whether it'll be the final one (probably will be), doesn't matter.
Anyway, as a final note, I might add, if you contemplate to watch S3 because so far you liked the series the way it has been, for what it is, you are absolutely going to enjoy it. If you do so because you have expectations (you know what I mean), you might end up getting about 85% disappointed.

This is a spoiler free, but slightly suggestive, short review.
I feel like this is a series that manages to keep up a joyful, childish mood the entire time, like nothing bad can ever happen, but at the same time it always keeps you on the edge, thinking about what is going to go wrong next and when. In my opinion pretty much everything about this anime is well put together and perfect, including the characters, the upper mentioned balance, the sounds, music, CV, the story as well, etc. The only things that keeps bothering me are the servants. Everything feels so strict and controlled, nobody
...
can go off-trail without repercussions, yet the servants can pretty much do whatever they please. Not literally and I'm not talking about the 'obvious duo'. Servants have their ego based on how high on the "servant rank ladder" they are (so who serves the highest ranked individual and also have a more comfortable role), which can be a nice addition that adds value to the story, but some servants singlehandedly decide what messages to forward and how to act, which is weird considering how strict the people of the institute are. One might just say "oh they don't know about it", but they do, it may happen right in front of them and they don't care. I can't ignore how much freedom they have to pull such ego moves considering their positions, it puts me off and always annoys me. Not annoying enough to ruin my 10/10 rating though, so there it is. RIP the review being short, oops.
If you like an isekai anime where the MC is OP in a more unique way, with lots of weak spots and brings you on an intellectual journey where something new always happens with very little fighting, ever, also don't mind a hyperactive main character, you might enjoy this series. I can assure you that the quantity doesn't bring down the quality in this case. I dare you to binge watch all 3 seasons in one go! >:O

This review will contain some spoilers.
I decided to write this review, because I see so many negative ones and it's not nearly as bad anime as people make it seem.
First of all, I've got to point out that it's sort of a generic shounen fantasy anime, I acknowledge that. It doesn't provide anything that hasn't been seen before in other series. Still, what makes it an entertaining show are the good directing, the good work of visual artists and CVs and sound specialists (forgot what they are called), the fact that it didn't run out of budget so it's a stable experience all along.
About the
...
characters:
The MC reached the limits his crest type would allow him in terms of power in his past life, so he decided reincarnate to acquire the one with the widest of potentials. Although anyone can make mistakes, even the strongest sage, he never gets cocky and makes sure to take out his enemies accompanied with his teammates as safe and quick as possible. His personality is not among the most generic ones, but not super unique either.
His first 2 companions, Lurie and Alma, are types that "we already saw a thousand times already" and I hope we will many times in the future. There is some romance going on, not really rushed, more of realistic. They learn the ways of magic and combat from the MC as they are improving their teamwork.
Iris is my favorite character, she's cute, most of the comedy revolves around her, well done as well, if I may say.
I understand how much people like drama and tension, but long time no see characters like the king and the headmaster (of the magic academy). They don't try to ego on the MC, they acknowledge his power and knowledge that he proved and presented confidently. Perhaps they are good at reading people as well. Years ago the friendly attitude was too mainstream, I admit it too, but these days even if the MC is sweating blood, they tend to get doubted or even shat on. In my opinion it's the best not to always stick to one way but have some variety.
Despite being a generic-ish seasonal shounen fantasy anime, it's quite a well-rounded one in my opinion, with likeable characters, good humor, nothing overdone (the MC does lots of talking, but it didn't bother me at all) and stable quality from the beginning 'til the end. It doesn't finish on a huge cliffhanger either, so no bittersweet feeling there.
I understand people being burnt out by seeing the same tropes over and over again through many individual titles, it's never mentioned anywhere which title tries to break the habits and which one settles with the more usual stuff, but it's not fair to forward one's frustration on all these series. Cliché is fine if it's well done and this anime is an entertaining one. Personally I'm glad these more "ordinary" series exist TOO, I hope they'll keep up in the future.

In my opinion, cliché isn't always bad, which this anime has a lot of, but well-executed. The first couple episodes are a bit too silly for my taste, but don't give up on it yet, it gradually gets better. To me it counts as a fun chill anime, makes many good jokes (many plain ones too, but nothing cringy), the little fights it has aren't cheap. Visually this anime is ridiculously good imo, especially the first episode, but each and every of them are well-animated throughout, no recycled / still-standing pictures, no foul draws, it's just flawless, while keeping the usual anime-style ofc, which I
...
find important. My reason for writing this review is because I think it's way underrated with its 7.1 MAL score. I can tell a lot of effort was put into this anime and it paid off pretty well. Even if it's nowhere near top10, it deserves much more love and appreciation.

As much as I hate to admit it, things happening in this anime (and probably the manga as well, didn't read it) do happen irl too. I think it perfectly resembles real life how the focused 4 personalities (aka 4 main characters) build up their relationships with each other, finding themselves and discovering their own feelings. In my opinion, this setup is good and is worth to watch, it's a nice experience, but the way the anime was created feels more like a hentai scenario (without actual hentai). I wish it was longer and more proper, giving time for events to escalate and the characters
...
to develop. It's not a bad anime, there are way worse out there, but it's clearly wasted potentials, unfortunately.
