The Wikipedia article for "hidden gem" needs only 3 words: Ako, to, and Bambi.
I just cannot for the life of me understand how a literal diamond series from a famous author can be this criminally unknown.

What's not to like about this manga?
The characters, so loveable, so realistic, yet out of this world at the same time.
The romance is subtle, yet so heartwarming.
There is an entertainig and also mysterious story that constantly keps me engaged, despite the story literally being a slice of lfe manga.
How the heck does HERO-sensei manage to do it?!

But what I think is the best about this manga is its ... atmosphere, ita vibe or mood or whatever else you call it. It has this warm, cozy feling, while also being somewhat ethereal? Or is it its haunting and somewhat lonely feeling? Strangely, the word I find describing this story the best is a color: sepia.

Speaking of colors, lets talk about the art. It's very cute and somewhat rough. It's simple enough to impart the ghostly feeling, and the cozy feeling well, but detailed enough to supplement the story perfectly. It also has extremely minimalistic coloring - the pale dark blues and its retro red/oranges suit the ghostly vibe PERFECTLY. So well in fact, that I can literally envision these colors in my head based solely on the mood all while reading the chapter on my black and white Kindle.

I beg you, please read this. You won't regret it.

Pretty solid.
Just about this college girl creating more and more bizzare techniques to get her boyfriend to have sex with her. Nothing complicated, but it was fun seeing all these weird methods fmc would use, and the mmc's reaction made me chuckle sometimes.

Pretty funny and sweet, ending was the slightest bit dissapointing as it didn't really make the couple complete the main goal that I was hoping for, but still enojyable.

Character design is a solid 7/10, and so is the art. However, would have been nice to see more side characters, as theonly side character in the manga was kinda weird and not that satisfying.

Nothing ... amazing, just an entertaining manga to pass time with.

I really loved this series! The premise is about this one guy, who randomly runs into his ex-wife and finds out that she has a kid - their kid, and he didn't know he had one for 6 years xD
The story is all about the dad trying to bond with his new(?) daughter, and gradually rebuild his relationship with his ex-wife.
It made me feel so, uh, uwu all the time and was just so sweet - the daughter could've hated her dad, but she didn't, and it was super cute seeing the ex-couple slowly but surely warm up to another.
Ending felt a tiny bit rushed, ... but still enjoyable.
The art was also really nice, nothing special but fit the series well.
Overall, this series isn't anything jaw-droppingly spectacular, but still really great for overdosing on sweet sugary diabetic moments (and occasionally a good laugh here and there).

READ: THIS MANGA WOULD BE GOOD IF IT WASN'T FOR THE RIVAL.
I fully agree with the other two reviews. This series would have been a super fluffy and entertaining (albeit a bit average) shoujo romance IF it wasn't for the rival. First of all, why is there even a rival in the first place when the two main charactersare already dating from like chapter 2?!
Also the rival's just weird, why bother hitting on a girl with a boyfriend? And why did the author make it seem like he had a chance?

Art's an 8, fluffiness is a 9, story is a 1 solely because of rival. ... Otherwise, the story would be an 8.
Oveall, 6/10, you can still enjoy it, just be noted that the rival WILL piss you off. A lot.

An overall solid school SoL romance with hints of drama.

Plot and artstyle kinda reminds me of the 2010s era shonen romance, but kinda modernized in terms of artwork.
Story is about a very outgoing boy and a girl who has quite the opposite personality who are connected by a red string of fate only the girl can see.
Side characters are entertaining but nothing special.
Although SoL, the story does have a plot, and has one of those classic 2010 romance type backstory drama near the end.
Artwork has simplicity to it yet is very suited to the story. It does noticeably have a different art than other modern ... romance though.

Nothing special, but good to read to pass time.

Holy heck, I just stumbled upon not just a hidden gem, but a whole hidden diamond cave.
I am not experienced with these types of manga (post-apocalyptic/scif-fi), nor was I particularly interested in it, but this series had me hooked.
(MINOR SPOILERS)
Story (10):
General story that sounds basic enough, a girl in a world after aliens and disease has wiped out nearly all humans, and is on a mission to purify the land from the disease, and hopefully find other survivors. These aliens (the Executioners), brought along a disease called Crystiolis, a highly contaigous, deadly disease with no known cure. The victim, once dead, will ... grow crystals on their bodies that further spreads the disease. What I realy like about this story is that it is rather calm, with the plot progressing through meetings and encounters with the few side characters that there are (most of them are robots).It really instills a sense of lonliness, in fact, so far there are only two other human survivors in the story at the moment. This series is quite literaly a lonely solemn slice-of-life


Art (9):
Although the character art isn't anything amazing, what really shines is the background and setting art. It's detailed and just manages to convey the apoclyptic vibe, at least to me.

Characters (10):
The main characters, the girl, and later on, the boy and his little sister are nicely created. However, I really enjoyed all of the other, I guess sort of temporary side characters. For example, the story about the android servant and the manor master really hit deep for me, andI also think the old grandpa was a really good character. And the the backstory about the boy brother and his dad nearly made me cry :(.

Also, I must mention, the world and the setting is an easy 10 for me as well.

Overall, I really really REALLY recommend this series. Even if you are like me and doesn't have that much of an interest into post-apocalyptic slash sci-fi stuff, I promise you, you will enjoy it as much as I did.
