(there is a button "read more") Both are romcom / harem shows involving tutoring & studying with comedy aspects. :: Both MC are study nerds that became the tutor of a group of girls struggling in exam subjects. Each of the girls have different personalities and shines in one of the exam subjects. After a while they start making use of everyone's best attributes so everyone can pass the exam. :: During the episodes you get to see how the MC gets involved in their private life and slowly evolves from a tutor to a friend and beyond. - Notes * 5-toubun is a romance / comedy show focused on the romance part * Setting is mostly at home. * Characters are maturely designed. (high school-ish) * Bokutachi is a romance / comedy show focused on the comedy part * Setting is mostly school. * Characters are childish designed. (middle school-ish) Biggest difference: Bokutachi contains more silly jokes while 5-toubun has more scenes about the girls getting an affection for the MC.

(there is a button "read more") The worlds and personalities are different, but there are big similarities. :: Both MC are overpowered and are displayed unstoppable when they get serious. Everyone underestimates their power since they are reluctant in using them. :: The fight scenes are similar when they fight against a "strong" enemy. They get punched trough walls and even buildings but stand up emotionless like nothing extremes happened. - Notes * One Punch Man is a sci-fi comedy action show about superpowers using against monsters. * Setting is a remote city. * Every character is unaware of the MC. * Mob Psycho is a comedy action show about superpowers using against evil people with superpowers. * Setting is Japan-like city. * Every character sees the MC differently. The biggest difference I have to highlight would be that One Punch Man MC is bored of his powers and can't find someone who can sustain more than one punch, while Mob Psycho MC prefers not to fight at all.

(there is a button "read more") This recommendation itself is actually a spoiler. (if you get what I mean) Let me try to not spoil stuff. :: Both MC live their normal lives until they encounter the bad guys. You get to know their so-called abilities/skills and some silly motives. Each character of the bad guys have their own personality, some you like and some you dislike. And hate to say, but both lack character development except for the MC. :: During the episodes you get to see some gore fight scenes and comedy interactions between group members. Of course you get to see how the MC becomes a key member who will do something heroics. - Notes * Akame ga Kill! is a fantasy action show about rebelling against the capital. * Setting is something close to medieval. * Every character has a special magical weapon. * Akudama Drive is a sci-fi action show about doing something criminals. * Setting is futuristic Japan, specifically the regions of Kansai and Kanto. * Every character has an unique skill. (not magical) The biggest difference I have to highlight would be the Magical medieval part for Akame ga Kill, and the futuristic sci-fi part for Akudama Drive.

(there is a button "read more") While the settings and personalities are totally different, there are still big similarities. :: Both Ayanokouji and Sora are experts in mind games. They can figure out how their opponents think, and act accordingly. They both are most of the time steps ahead by having counter measures which will make them win in the end. Both Light Novels don't explain what countermeasures they are preparing until the very end, where they explain how they predicted everything. :: Each volume introduces you to new characters, which involves around a new game (NGNL) / event (CotE). These games / events are becoming more difficult or are at least troublesome for the MC. - Notes * NGNL is about an isekai world based on games where the MC wants to unite the world. * View is 3rd-person. * Writing style uses many symbols to express characters and emotions, furthermore using a simple speech element to important characters. * MC never lose in the end. * CotE is about a school where classes battle each other for points to reach the top. * View is 1st-person. * Writing style uses the monologue of MC and how he reads expressions of everyone and their possible thoughts. *MC strives to do whatever benefits him, even if it means losing on purpose. For CotE readers I have to highlight the tag Ecchi for NGNL, since you will encounter many Ecchi jokes and statements. For NGNL readers I have to mention CotE has a slow start, from volume 4 it gets better.
