The first episode made me think this was going to be a normal "good" anime. The art was pretty old looking at first but soon grew on me and before I knew it I was immersed in the world of the Glass Mask.
I was amazed at how the characters acting made me feel so much; I laughed, I felt their sorrow, and I yearned for more. The first couple of episodes, although not very outstanding, is the key background information. After, the show quickly takes off into the start of Kitajima Maya's amazing journey as an actor.
