Hachimitsu to Clover has got to be one of the best animes out there, I finished this in a day. I swear Chica Umino's writings has got to be the best. She wrote both Honey and Clover and March Comes in Like A Lion (which had a lot of similarities, story-wise).
This anime has hit me on a personal level. Each character had their own personal struggles and was looking for some sort of soul-searching, with a touch of romance. I felt like I could relate to all of the characters at some point. This anime also opens up how young adults are still finding

Originally, I didn't want to make a review on Naruto but here I am. I've seen a few episodes of Naruto on TV before but I haven't fully watched the whole Naruto series. For the most part, I was impressed with the storyline and was hooked, however, it did take me a few episodes to actually get into it. You either love the characters, or you don't (I loved most of the characters, don't get me wrong) and I thought the storyline was perfectly executed. The background music was well put and was placed at the appropriate scenes. Overall, this anime is worth the shot

Kimetsu no Yaiba
(Anime)
add
Kimetsu no Yaiba is no doubt one of my favorite animes. When I first heard this anime, I was very much doubting this anime because it was so over-hyped but no, there's clearly a good reason why. The characters, the art, and the story are top-notch.
The story is easy to follow and there's a good mix of horror and action, however, some parts of the story could be slow at times. The main characters were, for the most part, loveable and the demons Tanjiro encounters were well-developed. The art, especially for episode 19, is one of the best-animated episodes, the way they executed the whole ... Nov 18, 2020
Chika Gentou Gekiga: Shoujo Tsubaki is one of the more psychological, gore-side of anime, it's not everyone's taste. I thought it wasn't that bad despite what people thought of this anime, it just had a lot of gore to it and not many people would like to see that.
However, I thought it was a very interesting anime, and artistically, it symbolizes every aspect of the anime. The storyline wasn't my taste but the art kept me hooked and kept me going. I thought the music was cheesy but it's a very old anime so I'll give it a pass. The characters were fucked up, ... Nov 17, 2020
Yakusoku no Neverland
(Anime)
add
I watched Yakusoku no Neverland on a whim on Netflix and honestly, I was surprised. I didn't expect that much when I started watching this anime and I thought it was going to be one of those generic animes, but nope. I loved how the story perfectly was executed and the characters were well-developed. What amazed me the most was the story, each episode gives off a sense of anxiety and intensity, with a drop of horror. The art played alongside the story and it gave its hints of horror and anxiety. The characters were honestly one of the smartest and thoughtful kids I've seen

Lovely★Complex
(Anime)
add
Lovely Complex is one of those good comedy-romance animes, I enjoyed this one because the characters were so interesting and the comedy was god-tier. The characters were relatable and I could relate to Risa a lot, being in love in high school. I liked how the comedy was incorporated into this anime, it feels like you're not watching a typical romance anime at all. The art was decent, it wasn't anything spectacular but the way each character make faces, it's hilarious. The background music was nice, it fits the tone of each scene. Overall, this anime was great, you'll not get bored watching this anime.

Usagi Drop
(Anime)
add
If you want a lighthearted, wholesome anime, Usagi Drop is for you. Although this show is mostly lighthearted and wholesome, they also present the struggles of taking care of a child when you're an only parent. Daikichi, the main character who willingly takes care of Rin, displays sacrifice and commitment to taking care of Rin.
I thought the story was straight to the point and they executed the plot well in such a short time. Each episode had to give something out and I wasn't bored watching each one. I wish this anime was a bit longer though (having about 11 eps.), however, I would ... Nov 15, 2020
3-gatsu no Lion
(Anime)
add
This anime has got to be one of my personal favorites. Although 3-gatsu no Lion has a slow pace, it captures and executed many of the struggles and hardships the character faces. This show demonstrates not only Rei but shows how other characters struggled. This anime gives you a huge variety of feelings, ranging from just plain happiness to something they (the characters) are personally struggling with, just like how we experience our own life. I've never seen any anime that related so much to what I was feeling and experiencing. It just goes to show how this anime can open up your view on
