The abandoned Empress, an Isekai seen by the eyes of a suporting character (you understand rigth? XD) this is how i saw it first. I really have mixed feelings with this story specially because of the end.
Story: 3. The story can be good but at the same time horrible. The first chapters were hard for me to read, I really felt bad for the protagonist but this shows us the reasons why she wants to change her future, and this moments of Aristia are really the best. Everytime I see Aristia fighting to live her life as she wants, pecefully and with her father, it
...
actually makes me want to cry, she deserves the best, BUT BUT BUT here comes the problem... the prince and the romance. If your making your character not loving the other ones who are clearly way better, why make romantic scenes with her abuser? I just can't accept this no matter what, I can understand it is another life, it's a story, it's not real etc... but what about the readers? What kind of thing is the author teaching to the readers? That it is fine to be with your abuser because "he can change"? I feel like the author is romanticizing abuse, and with this comes the tipical "girls being enemys because of a boy". To me the only antagonist between the love triangle is the prince and i really hate to see the girls insulting each other when both of them were victims of the same man. And despite saying I love to se Aristia being who she wants to be, she is still being used and cntrolled, seriously it hurts.
Art: 9. Despite how the story is, the art is beautifull. The artist made a great job especially with the clothes, omg they are stunning. I also have to remark the shadows of the trees I love how realistic they are to me.
Character: 6. I also have problems with this, they're a little plain to me, it's like if your not friends with the protagonist you are a disgusting person. I also don't like how Aristia started to act at the end, it's like she forgot about everything that the prince did to her and blamed it all in Jieun (same goes to her). The only ones worth it are Carsein and Keirean, they are angels sent by god. Don't take me wrong, i said a little plain, there are others who i really like how they were made with their good and bad sides just how humans are, for example Allendis.
Enjoyment: 4. I just hate the end and the story but i love so much Aristia's determination that my feelings are always on the top, It's the first time a webtoon makes want to cry of both anger and happines.
Overall: 4. If only the author made her single I wouldn't mind everything else. Don't make the protagonist be in a way that is incredible just to change it all because of a men, who again i say, is not worth it and who's reasons to be like he was are stupid.
At the end I don't recommend reading it, the only reason i continued to read it was because I thought the webtoon was going to have a different ending and the dresses.
