Exciting, cool, funny, realistic, relatable, wholesome and very inspiring. That's what Ao Ashi is. That's what I wanted in a sports anime. And that's what sports anime should be.
Ao ashi tackles not only the reality of life but also the reality of sports. Now, when Ao Ashi aired, I knew immediately that it doesn't have superpowers which a big plus to me.
I always wanted, and I'm always excited to see future athletes even just in fiction, oozing with determination and passion become pro and win. Im always excited to see how they will grow and Ao Ashi made me feel all of that.

I don't understand why many are upset that the anime adaptation was always compared to the manga when that's exactly how everything works in an adaptation. Vnc is not an original anime so comparing it to it's manga where it came from is only natural. So here's my take to the part 2 or more like, both parts.
