OVA's tend to bring on a bit of skepticism as they are short and too the point. Most of the time you need to know the background story of the OVA to get involved or you find yourself sorely disappointed with the addition to a show you waited so long for. Araiso however manages to shake off these assumptions and hold it's own as a fun enjoyable OVA.

Though receiving mixed reviews I found Night Head Genesis well paced and evolving. With new darker pot twists introduced with every episode.
Story: The story is slow paced and holds a dark overtone. It is the tale of two brothers cursed with psychic, telepathic and empathic which horrify there parents to the point that as children they are sent to a research facility far off in the woods with a powerful barrier keeping them confined within. Having watched the anime back when it first hit fansubs on the web, I finally got around to trying out the manga. I went to my local anime store and purchased the first two volumes. Within a a few weeks I had bought up till vol 10 being completely hooked.
Story: The story was very good and interesting at the start. The stroy is fun and involving with lots of panal time for some of favorite characters. As the story left Japan however and moved to America the appeal tends to go down with the fact that suddenly it is less about Shuichi's career and more ... |
