The first 2 arcs of BLEACH are genuinely two of my favorite pieces of fiction. However, After the Soul Society arc, you will notice a drop in quality but for the most part the series is still good and fun to watch. I love just about everything about this series lol. so different from other popular MCs because he doesn't take up all the screen time, giving other supporting characters a chance to shine in their respective battles. The soundtrack courtesy of Shiro Sagisu is amazing, I personally think listening to anime music is corny asf but I've unironically bumped some songs from the soundtrack. The main complaint I've always heard about this show is that "the fillers suck" or "50% of the show is filler" and yes that is true but the filler is for the most part well placed and most of it is actually good filler outside of a few specific episodes as well as the Bount Arc which I won't even try to defend because it is a slow paced and mid arc that comes right after the best arc in the series (please don't give up on Bleach because of it, it gets better, promise).
The ending of the series could've been a little bit better, the Fullbring arc feels very weird as it's a calm, laid back section of the show right after the longest arc in the show with nonstop battles and action, making the whole Fullbringer idea a little boring in comparison to the Espada/Arrancar stuff. So, because of that arc and a few minor issues, Bleach will get a 9 rather than a 10.
Overall, Bleach is a must watch for any anime fan. If you haven't watched it yet then deadass go ahead and watch it so that you can get to TYBW quick and watch the ending of one of the most iconic anime as it airs.
