Don't let the CGI fool you. Kemurikusa is an exceptional anime despite its appearance.

The story is really quite written well. It is quite similar to Kemono Friends, except we see and get more of the world explained, which I liked. If you haven't watched Kemono Friends, then to TL;DR Kemurikusa and this one: people go explore an apocalyptic landscape.

So, I give Story 10/10.

As for art: I gave it a 6/10 because I docked points for the bad animation, but the imagery and backgrounds were really good. So that kept it afloat.

Sound 7/10 I didn't think much was memorable personally.

Characters 7/10 - it turns out the ...

The best part was the story. Messages travel at fastest, the speed of light, so it's not unusual that it would have a huge delay in travel - not to mention the technology is Martian, not human.

I found it much better than 5 cm/s because it was more consistent. The ending was left open which was more satisfying than I thought.

The art sucked, even for 2007 standards. Expected much more from Shinkai. Sound was fine, nothing too special. The characters had little to no development but this expected of an anime based around them never meeting each other. It is an interesting premise and ...

This is a pretentious anime. It seems to be some sort of gatekeeping, like "hah! you didn't get this? low IQ!"

It interested me at first. An interest plot. It gradually got more and more confusing, so I hoped that it would eventually wrap itself up and explain it at the end. Nothing ended up being explained.

The majority was good, but the ending sucked. I should not have to google "[Anime Name] explained", yet more often than not, I do. This anime is the same case. Being confusing does not make an anime good. Would you like to read a confusing book, or watch a ...

Story: I give this 7/10. Obviously there is no story at all and only just a SoL but the comedy I think is better than usual SoL. It doesn't rely on tired tropes.

Art: Nice and comforting. I liked it very much. Therefore I give it 10/10. I like the change in background scene, not just typical Japanese school setting. This providing a good refresh.

Sound: The only thing I can say about the sound is the Season 2 Ending: Tokimeki Poporon. YouTube it, you will get diabetes. Other than that, the soundtrack is not distracting but not always the most memorable.

Character is 9/10 because ...

So Ra No Wo To is such an anime, that, I believe, it surpasses the 10-point system.

People compare it to K-On!, but I feel that is unfair. Don't get me wrong, I gave K-On! series a 10/10, but Sora No Woto is more, it at least 12.

First, it has the perfect blend of plot, character, SoL, and moe. For me, this blend made it really enjoyable to watch. There is a bit of plot pushing the whole thing on, and the arc works across the whole series. The pacing, I found, was really quite good, and so was the character development. You really got to ...

K-On!! (Anime) add
To be quite honest, I didn't particularly enjoy the first season. A 7 at best, for me. TLDR at bottom.

But the second season, I believe, it gave the greater character development that I enjoy. First things first, let's get the common things over with. Yes, it is a moe anime. Yes, the music hardly plays a role (it does in the second season though). Yes, there is no plot.

However, I did not let this be unenjoyable. The characters were drawn well and I find that the lack of story was made up by the moe + characters. I found that most the characters ...

Eh...it's very perverted to say the least. And not subtle, it's very upfront about it.

The storyline is not the super-typical one, it has some uniqueness to it. But that is where it ends, because after an excessively sad first 10 minutes, the entire anime is rather bland. There is that one, generic, crime mini-plot going on, which is quite cliche. If you don't care about cliche, like me, you can just sit back and enjoy it.

The art is simple, nothing special. At least it is not like Clannad with those big alien eyes.

Sound is not as bad as MC's singing.

The anime ends in a bad ...

Mmm I may have wished to be falling asleep after watching this...

It is a good and relaxing one. Maybe it is because I am relating to the character. A good comedy. It is nice that the "romance" did not sprout, so to speak. A change in pace. The art is very calming colours, and the side bits transitional are funny. However, it needs more development on the side characters.

The tidbits of classical piano at the beginning of episodes is a warm welcome. Deducted points due to the character develop.

A side remark: I never heard the word "listless" to describe a lazy person, haha

Just to ...

Preliminary (11/24 eps)
The story is really quite tiring after the first 4 episodes. You can watch the first 4, and maybe another one just for the feel of the rest of the series. And that should be fine.

The romance scenes are overdone. They are too excessive in my opinion, and are really quite distracting. Second, the character development is mainly nonexistent. They are not quite complex and can easily be described in a couple word.

Finally, the art was fine, the story, even for a Slice of Life/Romance, was rubbish, because there was hardly even the slightest attempt at an arc. The "drama" was resolved almost instantly and ...
