While the two series have some surface level similarities (MC forced into another world with powers with their life at stake), Darwin's Game takes place in the real world whereas 100man is mostly an isekai. That being said, I think these two series are very similar in the fact that they take mediocre, overdone concepts and present them at face value before developing into stories that diverge significantly from what you'd expect. Both also get noticeably darker from where they start. -100man has a relatively standard isekai setting, except that the characters often return to their own world in between missions. The quests they're given rarely end up being as simple as 'get more powerful and beat monster,' and the relatively meager videogame powers they're given rarely end up being the reason why they complete them. There's a lot more focus on the character's mental states and personal motivations, as well. -Darwin's Game is about your typical generic shounen MC and his inexplicably acquired superhot, super OP, super murder-happy love interest trying to clear a death game. MC-kun's entire persona is about his absolute refusal to give in to the game and kill and it's pretty mediocre, until suddenly he does give in and the story turns on the turbo boosters. Despite the genre differences, both are very entertaining reads that a lot of people would easily overlook for being too generic. They aren't necessarily masterpieces, but definitely worth the read ESPECIALLY if you tend to stray from these story setups.
