Gate and SAO contain two very different plots, however each one is centered around a main male protagonist who each are able to become surrounded by pretty girls as they explore new medieval-esque lands they are sent to. Gate directs it's attention towards war, differences in culture and politics of both worlds whilst SAO focuses on the lives of individual characters and the struggles they face as they try to leave the game

Both anime feature the romance genre. The story of the two are relatively similar, even though Hanbun may not have the magic element to it. Both anime started with a strong story which evolved into a moderately bittersweet ending. Good if you like 'touching' type endings. Those who have watched one are encouraged to watch the other.

11eyes

Both groups of people are fighting against some other- worldly monsters. The fights all take place in another parallel dimension where the sky would turn dark red whenever a barrier was put up. Though the romance is much better in Shakugan no Shana, 11eyes is still alright. Mainly recommended for people who watched 11eyes first.

The two anime have the same cheeky, if I may, remarks. I love the OPs of both of them—some of the most memorable ones I've ever listened to. The love triangle is quite interesting and humorous, though the romance definitely could have gotten deeper.

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai

These anime are similar because they have that one guy who's trying to save other girls. This is done by capturing the loose soul inside the heroines in Katsuragi's case and controlling/defeating the demon or god inside the girls in Araragi's. If you like one I am quite sure you would like the other.

Btooom! and Mirai Nikki (TV) have the same psychological feeling to them. They both have people turning on, betraying, and allying each other. They are very similar since both anime feature a survival "game". If you liked one, you would most likely like the other.

Myself ; Yourself has the same dramatic feelings as True Tears. Both anime are also in the same genres. I enjoyed both of them, and while Myself ; Yourself's story was different than True Tears's, it reminded me of the other. If you liked one you should definitely try the other one.
