I didn't expect much because I knew the plot was the same old generic "revenge plot" that is used over and over again but at least the beginning was interesting enough to keep my attention, even if the plot is generic the journey can be enjoyed if they handle it well, however, that didn't happen here, they handled it really poorly and I could tell the script and direction was losing quality in episode 3 and up with the crappy ass cartoonishly evil villains, but I still had some hope and it was still somewhat enjoyable due to the good fighting scenes, but this anime

started going downhill REALLY FAST in episode 5 when they introduced the Mecha crap so I feel like I got baited into watching this garbage, this has nothing to do with Ninjas anymore, this is just some dumb Mecha anime at this point, this anime clearly needs to have Mecha in the genre/theme.
So this anime messed up, and it doesn't help that the main characters and villains are uninspiring and uninteresting, all of them suck, the plot sucks, the script sucks, the direction sucks, and the only saving grace was the awesome animation and fight choreography in the action scenes which happened in the beginning but they don't have the budget anymore so the animation and fight choreography sucks at this point as well and not only does it suck, it's full of crappy CGI too, so what else does this anime have at this point? it doesn't have anything else to offer.
I don't recommend it but if you want some pointless action with crappy characters, direction, and script, then go for it.
