I only read one chapter of Junjou Romantica and it was the most appalling thing I have ever read. A child is raped by a 28 year old man and this is treated as a cute start to their relationship. This is honestly one of the most vile and unappealing things I have ever read and you should be ashamed for liking it. On top of that the art is the literal worst I have ever seen. Characters are drawn with childlike levels of incompetence with oddly angled chins and the infamous "yaoi hands" appearing on every single page. Background details range from nonexistent to ... incomprehensible. Between the pedophilia, cutesy depiction of rape, and general shittiness, I have never read anything as unappealing as Junjou Romantica. I know this is apparently a very popular series and this is very concerning to me. This isn't cute, this isn't well written, this is just vile. Again you should be ashamed for liking this. I hate you.
