This manga is the textbook definition of wasted potential. I don't think that there is anything awful about the manga - in fact, I did enjoy the ride. But it could have been so much better if the author was able to spend more time on it. (SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST 2 CH)
First, I believe that the manga as a whole has a great premise. A loner living in an apartment with thin walls, and a NEET girl living next to him. Right off the bad, there is tons of potential to form a really great bond between the two. Unfortunately that's where this manga
...
fell short. They conversations they have only go a bit deeper than surface level. Manga like these, where dialogue between two characters are the sole driver of a story, need to have deeper topics, better development, and heart-tugging exchanges. If this is able to happen, the rating of the manga would increase by far. I do think the author made a great atmosphere in the apartment as a whole, but beyond that it was lacking. The side characters, besides Inaba, have practically no development and the art is bland.
I know that this is a harsh review but I do believe that the author is new and has potential.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROMCOMS I HAVE READ IN A WHILE AND IM APPALLED AT ITS 6* RATING
Let me explain.
A breath of fresh air from its heavy and drama-filled counterparts (cough Oyasumi Punpun, Lie in april, 3-days cough), this romance/comedy/slight ecchi manga is the best of its genre. From an expressive array of lovable characters to solid sailing ships that don't leave the bitter taste of loss after reading about a love triangle, this manga truly amazes me as an avid romcom reader.
Story: 9
This is a simple yet fun tale about two characters who secretly love each other (revealed on 1st chapter
...
not a spoiler), but can't seem to confess (in addition to the MAL summary). Similar to the works of other romcoms, this story might seem basic due to its generic outline. However, the small interactions and simple implications of love truly allows this manga to be entertaining. Many sub-plots and situations allow the characters to fall in love with each other even more as the story progresses, and it can be easily seen that when the confession occurs, it will be a satisfying, heart throbbing moment of pure joy.
Art: 10
The artistic aspect of this manga is HILARIOUS. The characters are already well drawn out, from our vivacious female MC to her straightforward and A+ student crush, but where this manga really shines in terms of art is in its comedic use of expressions. Remembers laughing at the faces characters would make in Grand Blue, Gintama, and Prison school? Well prepare to laugh yet again as this manga has expressions that I have personally screen shotted, saving for later usage during a group chat frenzy.
Character: 10
BEST PART OF THIS MANGA. The characters are simple yet lovable. They make you want to hug them indefinitely when they're sad or happy. The best part is that each character is shipped with someone else that fits them perfectly, allowing for the maximum amount of enjoyment one can obtain from reading a romcom. Every character has a special quirk that allows them to shine in some sort of way, adding to the wholesomeness when being shipped with other characters. There is no character that is left out, or is left as a static side character to add unnecessary drama to this masterpiece. Each character contributes to the enjoyment of this manga as a whole, and I continue to look forward to each characters story.
Enjoyment: 10
Binged all available chapters and am wishing for more. As of chapter 16, this manga is a true masterpiece that I can't get enough of. I was surprised as I didn't think much would come of this basic gal x studious guy ship, that often leaves me wishing for better written characters. If you enjoy romcom and/or hot gals enough to read until the end of this review, please do yourself a favor and read this manga.
Overall: 10

BS Review: In this thrilling, psychological warfare that breaks even the keenest of minds, we witness an antagonist so powerful that we sympathize the main character's mental position. This dramatic, emotional show tells a tale like no other—a show of tragic love and betrayal. And of bobblehead chibis with hairlines that have more of an extreme angle than Minecraft's rubberbanding glitch.
Its hard to forget sometimes that there are some shows that are purely made for fun, with no meaning behind them
Like this one.
The art and sound aren't that impressive, I feel like you would have the same experience reading the manga. Considering shows like Violet
...
Evergarden and Overlord II that are currently airing, the quality is significantly worse.
The main plot goes like so: Takagi constantly teases Nishikata, and he's out for revenge. The entire plot/goal of this series is to make Takagi flustered. (hey, at least it has a plot, cough Blend S cough)
As a person who read the manga to the point where I'm checking every week to see if a new chapter is released, I can confirm that it is at least an entertaining series. When you watch plot-heavy shows like Code Geass and Eden of the East, sometimes you need a break to relax your mind, a break that this show provides.

Seven Deadly Sins—Known for its ecchi(although it actually doesn't have much) and its overpowered main character(can't disagree), its one of the post popular shows made by A-1 Pictures. This is a tale much like Yona of the Dawn, a princess gathers a strong group to bring down the powerful enemies. Its a thrilling adventure—and nothing less.
Story(8) Like I said, it is very much like Yona of the Dawn. The story is captivating because the main point is to gather the most powerful people, which is extremely exciting. They also have to bring down their common enemy, the Holy Knights. However, this type of story isn't unique,
...
which is why it's not a ten.
Art(9) The art has a special bubbly feeling to it. Especially the character designs of Meliodas and Elizabeth, the art doesn't seem to have a dark and serious setting. The colors are bright, and the backgrounds and castles look wonderful. Not much else to say here.
Sound(9) The first intro I really loved, a lot more than the second one. It had one of those catchy tunes that you will remember forever. The sound effected the show a lot, and the sound tracks of the battle scenes and death scenes were amazing. The part where Elaine gave the water to Ban had THE MOST EFFECT ON ME, especially with the fiery art and the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING music that played at that scene. That scene was one of the most impactful I have ever watched in anime. The sound and music are a BIG part of this anime's feel.
Character(7) The part that's lacking in this show is the characters, and the character development. The characters all have different powers, and different strengths. Its easy to notice the difference between them, which is why many people would like the characters. However, compared to Yona of the Dawn, the character development isn't great. Sure, there are a few short flashbacks here and there, but it doesn't go in depth to each of the individual characters. This show would be much better if we knew the characters and their backstories more, especially Meliodas. The characters are also "flat characters," which means that they don't change too much throughout the show.
Enjoyment and Overall(8): This show was enjoyable, and it was fun seeing Meliodas destroy many people. The fight scenes were great, and there was even some decent comedy in there. I would have liked to see more developments between the characters and their interactions with each other. Overall, this was a very enjoyable show .

(This is my first review that hopefully won't delete lol pls bear with me)
Yona of the Dawn, a thrilling adventure anime that's not likely to leave my mind soon. Personally, I haven't been too attached to anime lately, and whenever I watched anime, I felt as if it was just as a form of entertainment. Anime like Trinity Seven and Gamers! entertained me, but I never felt any attachment to them. However, when I watched Yona of the Dawn, it brought me back to the days where I actually felt attachment towards what I was watching, which is what I absolutely LOVED about this show.
(8)Story:
...
The story itself is exciting, and the adventure of finding other powerful beings to bring to their side is what kept me binge watching this series in two school nights. Whenever I finished an episode, I couldn't wait to watch the next one. However, there are a few flaws with the story. Su-won's point of view and the reasons for his actions were never explained in the entire show, which were one of the things I was thinking about throughout the show. I also feel like they need to explain the geographic and political standpoints of all the kingdoms a bit more, to help the watchers understand why different kingdoms are allies or enemies and to create more tension between them, making the story more exciting. Other than that, the feeling of adventure and travel was excellently portrayed within the show, and I couldn't get enough of it!
(9)Art: The art was absolutely amazing, and fit the characters and background for the feeling of the show very well. The spirit of Yona was AMAZINGLY represented in the art, with her hair glowing and he eyes sparking with a fiery glaze in them, with the growth in her character clearly seen. The backgrounds and sunsets for dramatic scenes were equally amazing, and completely matched the show. I gave it 9 instead of 10 because the animation can be a tiny bit fuzzy at times, and Yona's character could look a bit better, but that is NOT a reason to consider dropping the show. Overall, the art in this show is almost perfect, matching up with the feeling and music very well.
(10)Sound: In my opinion, the sounds in this show is one of the best I have ever heard. It perfectly matches the feelings you make when watching this show, with the genres of fantasy, adventure, and action mixing together with the music, as well as the show itself. This is one of the only shows I watched completely, from the beginning to end, without skipping the intros or outros. The intros got you hyped for the upcoming episode, with the feeling of (historical?) fantasy well blended in it, especially the second intro. The second outro is one of my favorites (actually as I write this review I'm listening to it right now), it gives me the feeling of coming to the end of the action in the episode you just watched, and gives you a really fantasy-filled adventurous feeling, making you want to start the next episode.
(10)Character: This is where the show really shines. You see the growth of each character, overcoming their dark past and forming a matured personality. The princess to traveler/bandit growth might be viewed as a bit cliche, but I loved seeing Yona's fiery expression at the end of the show. Each of the individual dragons (besides the yellow) grew from their dark past, to eventually bright as they joined Yona's group. Also, I loved each of the characters' different design. The different colors in their hair, representing what dragon they were, did not annoy me in the least. Their different personalities were clearly seen on each of the their character designs, which made it easy to distinguish who they were.
(10)Enjoyment and (9) Overall: I haven't grown this attached to a show in a while, and I am very glad I watched it. One of the reasons I didn't give this a ten was because this anime had potential to develop Hak and Yona's relationship, but they never got past the point of Hak being "specially" frienzoned, which is why I would consider the romance part of this show as a subgenre(they might just be going along with the manga, so I can't complain). However, overall I really enjoyed this show and would recommend it to almost anyone. This mix of action, adventure, and fantasy was the best I have ever seen in any anime, and I wish more anime would follow this one's example.
