Ergo Proxy (Anime) add
ENGLISH

Story: 16/20
Ergo Proxy takes us to a world where humanity has pushed the planet to the brink of destruction, forcing people to seek refuge in small civilizations enclosed within domes. The story begins in the Romdo dome, where we meet RE-L, an inspector. From the very beginning, we are introduced to AutoReivs, robotic assistants that coexist with humans. However, something feels off. As the series progresses, key characters are introduced, and by the midpoint, everything spirals out of control. Ergo Proxy presents a strong narrative that allows the viewer to interpret and construct its meaning in their own way.

History: 25/25
The story of Berserk stands as one of the finest in all of Animanga. It immerses us in the life of Guts, a former mercenary, chronicling the many hardships he has faced: his tumultuous birth, the traumatic abuse he suffered as a child—resulting in his lifelong habit of sleeping with his sword—and the harrowing events of the Eclipse. This is an extraordinary narrative, rich in sorrow, joy, and an array of deeply felt emotions.

Art: 25/25
Kentaro Miura’s artwork is nothing short of phenomenal, arguably the pinnacle of manga artistry. Berserk is replete with breathtaking panels that are difficult to do justice with mere words. Its ...

History: 17/20
The story of Neon Genesis Evangelion isn’t the strongest point of the anime, nor is it the main focus. However, it’s a compelling narrative centered around human instrumentality. Gendo Ikari, after losing his wife during experiments with Eva 01, seeks to unite humanity into a single consciousness. I appreciate how the story progresses alongside the characters. Once you grasp its meaning, it becomes a solid storyline.

Animation: 20/20
The animation from the 1990s and early 2000s is my favorite, and Evangelion stands out as the best I’ve seen. It doesn’t rely on excessive special effects, everything is clear, and there are no flaws. Gainax truly worked ...

History: 17/20
Serial Experiments Lain does not focus on storytelling as its strong suit, yet it delivers a compelling narrative. It’s somewhat difficult to understand but aligns perfectly with the series' philosophy and themes.

Animation: 16/20
Personally, I enjoy the animation style of the 90s and early 2000s—simple and not overly flashy. However, being objective, the animation quality here is not great. It’s evident that the studio had a limited budget. Even so, I find the animation appealing in its own way.

Sound: 20/20
The soundtrack is excellent, featuring one of the best openings in anime history and one of my personal favorites. I watched it in the Spanish dub, ...

Steins;Gate (Anime) add
Spoiler
ENGLISH

History: 16/20
The story of Steins;Gate is particularly strong within its genre—time travel. It avoids the typical time paradox trope, such as "I go back in time, kill my father, I'm never born, therefore I can't kill my father, and the cycle repeats."
Instead, it incorporates real-world references like the IBM 5100, CERN, and John Titor, grounding the story in a unique way.

Animation: 17/20
The animation is excellent, with a clean and straightforward design. It doesn’t rely heavily on visual effects, as they’re not essential to the story. Overall, very solid work.

Sound: 16/20
The series has a good soundtrack, featuring a memorable opening theme. The voice acting fits the ...

History: 14/20
Black Lagoon tells its story from the perspective of Rock. While it’s not groundbreaking, it’s compelling enough. The series follows Indian Ocean pirates who work for the mafia, featuring various arcs like the Nazi treasure hunt, Roberta the maid, and the Japan arc.
It’s a good story overall but doesn’t particularly excel in any single area.

Animation: 17/20
Personally, I prefer this type of animation that avoids excessive special effects or flashy visuals. The art style, color tones, and character designs are solid. However, there are some minor issues, such as animating background characters or distant elements, but they don’t detract significantly from the overall experience.

Sound: 18/20

ENGLISH

History: 19/20
Monster tells a captivating story that weaves historical events, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Cold War, the division of Germany, the resurgence of neonazis, and acts of extremism, into its narrative. The story explores the personalities of various characters, from Johan’s psychopathy to diverse assassins, but also shows good-hearted individuals like Tenma, Grimmer, and Dieter. The first 10-15 episodes deeply immerse you into the story with an intriguing introduction. The next 30-35 episodes slow down a bit, introducing many new characters and subplots, all of which are connected to the same person. Around episodes 45-50, the main storyline ...

Death Note (Anime) add
ENGLISH

History: 17/20
The story of Death Note is incredible and captivates you right from the first episode. It’s fascinating to see how the protagonist himself becomes the villain, a concept very few stories manage to explore and Death Note does it perfectly.
The intellectual battle between Light Yagami and L is thrilling. However, the second half of the series is noticeably weaker than the first.

Animation: 17/20
The animation in Death Note is very well done. It doesn’t rely heavily on special effects because they’re not really necessary for this type of story.

Sound: 18/20
The sound effects fit seamlessly with ...

Cowboy Bebop (Anime) add
Spoiler
ENGLISH
English it's not my main language so maybe some quotes from the characters are not exactly translates, but i think it will be understanding.
Story: 13/20
The story Cowboy Bebop tries to tell isn’t the strongest aspect of the series. Even so, I think it’s a good story that unfolds gradually.
It’s a plot filled with science fiction, focusing on space bounty hunters. It’s packed with action, fights, shootouts, and deaths.

Animation: 20/20
In my opinion, the animation from the 90s and early 2000s is undoubtedly the best. And Cowboy Bebop is no exception: its animation is excellent.

Sound: 20/20
Just like the animation, the sound is impeccable. From the effects of ...

Story: 17/20
The story of Shingeki no Kyojin is one of the best in the anime and manga world.
It is full of unexpected plot twists, well-developed characters, and a storyline that maintains a high level of intrigue.
In my opinion, it is nearly perfect up until the second-to-last season. However, in the final season, while the ending feels appropriate, the narrative becomes more chaotic, which slightly lowers my overall satisfaction.

Animation: 14/20
It is undeniable that the animation is impressive, especially in the more recent seasons.
However, in the earlier seasons, the character animation feels too flat compared to the environment, creating a contrast that doesn’t fully convince me. Even ...
