Trigun is a very good western-themed shonen about charming master gunslinger Vash the Stampede, an outlaw who will not kill. Over the course of 26 mostly self-contained episodes, it becomes hard not to like Vash and his supporting cast as the wander from town to town, sometimes causing/sometimes solving problems. The music in the show is very psychedelic, with a strong 70's rock feel, and with love and peace being big themes present in the show I think it fits rather well. The art truthfully hasn't aged well, but it's definitely serviceable and charming to those that enjoy the vintage feel of 90's anime, and

Hunter x Hunter (2011)
(Anime)
add
Hunter X Hunter is probably the greatest of the shonen genre. It does a lot of what other contemporaries do, but better, and without falling into a lot of genre pitfalls. Gon is an excellent main protagonist, very likable and makes a lot of progress throughout the shows' 7 arc 148 episode run, for which two of the arcs he's hardly present in. Gungrave has a unique flow to it that comes from being transcribed from a video game story and setting to an anime, and for the most part it navigates that pretty well. It can be very edgy at times with some over the top eye-rolling dialogue, but does what it sets out to do well overall. The strong parts of the show are it's narrative during the first section, and the payoff for it during the second. The art and voice acting (in the dub at least), however, are definitely the weakest aspect of the show, and are distractingly poor at times. Overall, I would

Spy x Family Part 2
(Anime)
add
Spy x Family part 2 feels even more charming than the first, full of wholesomeness and cute family moments, with better and more varied comedy. The art style and voice acting are pretty good, the settings and theme of each episode are distinct enough to make each episode feel distinct and fresh to watch. If you're a fan of slice of life of comedy, you'll probably enjoy the shenanigans of the Forger family and the other likable characters. The writers do an excellent job of providing scenes that bring the major characters together for heartwarming moments and comedic gags, although there are definitely some cheesy
