First things first, this manhwa was mindblowing. I don't normally read psychological horrors but this made me more intrigued in the genre. It worked in so many different ways, by that i mean there are little details that just caused you to actually use your brain and think of the story more deeply. More to what meets the eye. Theory inducing. That's the main reason why i loved this, the writing and storyline, instant 10/10.
Now, for the characters... erm. There are mixed opinions on them. Well for me, boi, some points i hated Sangwoo's guts, as most people do, but it's ... confusing. As one of main characters, and our precious Bum's partner(?) (i don't know, for me this was a beyond abusive,toxic relationship, but was still classified as a relationship. They just fed off eachothers serious issues and both needed help.)

Yes, he's a plain and simple murderer but other than that, he was quite loving?? I don't know, i think this is how it feels to try and make a bad character seem good when they're really not. He showed ''love'' in weird ways. And i actually think he tried to better Bum in some chapters, like fix him somehow. At first he tortured him because lmao, he do be breaking in, but they seemed to have a connection and it wasn't just an unrequited love anymore? That's what I think. Anyways, i think we can all agree that Bum deserved way better, but I think we all seem to forget that Bum was infatuated with Sangwoo...so even though Sangwoo was a completely different image to what he dreamt of, and he killed people, broke his legs, abused him, somehow and somewhat become tame in the later chapters, I don't know if it's because certain events occured or certain people showed up *cough* Seungbae. Woah, Seungbae was the hero of this manhwa. But the way he was suspicious from the start was weird, Sangwoo was just breathing and Seungbae was already like, I don't like that guy.. seemed a bit??? But I don't have much to say about him without spoiling, except he was persistent af but back to the actual review.. I don't have any reason to dislike this manhwa.

Yes it's sad and leaves you broken for weeks because you want things to be happy and warm between the characters, please remember this is a psychological HORROR. LMAO. But, the characters being shitty doesn't correlate to the story much for me, yes they can be annoying but what's a manhwa with no flawed characters, i think they make it even better and I think the development was great from start to finish. Period.
