I've wasted a lot of time watching anime... You can go check, I'll wait.

Pretty crazy right? Instead of developing real life skills, I decided to
spend my life watching cartoons; hardly a well spent time. But I did
enjoy it thouroughly, even though it was too much.

Unfortunately, I have a total of more than 750 complete anime, with
less than 10 anime not watched in the top 150, soon even less, and
watched most top 300 - and so I like to analyze story-telling and
compare with other mediums like books, movies, tv, manga, etc,
that I also enjoy.

Compared with Netflix/american normal life-action series that I also
watch very very much, for example Dark and Firefly, or in animation
Rick and Morty and Bojack Horseman, I can say there are better
anime, and even better manga, than what that medium has to offer.
Although they lack that realistic visual feeling of course.

When comparing to manga, Berserk and Jojo's Bizzarre Adventure are
absolutely insane. I can't believe how good they are, they fit my exact
type of story, like they were made for me. Reading berserk is like
reading my favourite fantasy books, which I read at least 60-70 (still
reading) and be able to see everything what is going on, with finner
detail than my imagination! Its my favourite piece of art.

Those two surpass anything any medium ever made in my opinion.
And right next comes the top anime. Some of these are completely
irreplicable in any other medium. Some complete masterpieces worth
mentioning are... Well for me are the top 6 in MAL! Including last
season of Attack on Titan. These top anime are really insanely good.
Coincidently, my top 2 manga are also the top 2!
I'm so proud of this community!! :) (pun intended)

All in all, even if I wasted an enormous amout of time watching
stupid and pointless anime, I believe it was wasted the best way
possible, and that must mean something good.
