I decided to read this manga on a whim and read up to the 12 chapters that had been released at the time in one sitting. From the very moment it pulls you into a world where the supernatural aspect of selling your life feels well established and natural to the progression of the story.
The feeling of a depressed and desolate 20 year old man can be felt through his actions and dialogue and the way the author has drawn the world around him makes it feel empty and desolate. This feel is established from the very outset with the mc selling all his stuff

to try and have a meal. Although the desperation and sadness that comes with living feels very real we begin to see him change as he spends the rest of his days.
It's hard to talk about some of the other aspects without spoiling too much but the change the characters undergo is incredibly bitter sweet
The art is pretty good, character design is varied and distinguished. Really fits the mood of manga with the shading and tone work. And the way some scenes are drawn are quite beautiful. (Thinking of one in particular)
I should mention that after I read all the released chapters I went ahead and read the light novel volume to see what happens.
It's honestly a great story leaving you with that bitter sweet feeling at the end of it.
