WARNING: SPOILERS!!
OK... I made and effort and came on here to add this to my list of already read manga (usually I don't do this, I read ALOT of mangas and only the ones I really like, would I make an effort to add it.) but when I saw the first 2 reviews viewable on the main page, I felt a little sad. So I decided, I should definitely find the time to sit down and write a review for this manga. I personally feel that this manga deserves a 9 or 8.. still can't make up my mind about that yet but let me
...
explain each section and why, I find this yaoi manga a little different from the other yaoi "rape" mangas.
Story: 8/10
I felt the story is really good because there's a bit of twist and emotions involved when I go through the manga. I went through a bit of an emotional roller-coaster with this manga and for a yaoi manga to do that? Well, it is not very often. There are some out there that's really good and not just all about s*x that most people keep going on about. (Yaoi = Porn well, not always! and this is one of them!) The sex scenes are there as a story, as something to depict emotions. Even though I really didn't like the bit that Aoi ganged up with a bunch of dogey ass guys to rape and film Kana, I still find in me, a hope that Aoi is not that evil. And then there's a point in the manga where I got all teary eyed and sad and when the manga eventually ended, I felt kinda sad. I wanted to know more about the couple. I didn't want the story to just end there!
Art: 8/10
I actually really like the art!! hahaha.. I admit in the beginning, I wanted to see the guy's face more and a few scenes where I didn't understand what's going on till I go over it again. But the drawing grows on me. I really like the flowy or sketchy feel of it. It's like something very fleeting. Kinda matches the story really well. So thumbs up from me to the mangaka still! :) I've seen worst drawing skills than this!!! Kinds that make me wonder if they can produce a manga with that kind of drawing skills, what's stopping me? (probably my laziness.. hahaha)
Character: 9/10
I love the characters! All 3 main characters, I love them all. There is a point where I wasn't happy with Aoi but I'm glad I was in denial till the end. :D FIrstly, Kana, the sweet, innocent, cute uke boy. (just wanna cuddle him!) Well, to those who think Kana is stupid or weak or blind to be able to still love Aoi despite what happened, to me, Kana isn't a weak guy who just loves Aoi blindly like most other yaoi manga characters are, I have read MANY! where in the midst of being raped or constantly being tormented, the uke falls in love. (I agree that that's what most people would call Hentai Logice.. (-_-)) The difference is Kana fell in love with Aoi because of the things they did together, he was truly happy during his time of experiencing freedom and love with Aoi, so naturally, when you love someone very much and have really great memories of the person, you would naturally tend to want to not give up and find out the true feelings of that person. It doesn't mean that Kana is stupid. That's just how life is sometimes. You fall so deeply in love, you can't rationalise and lucky for Kana, Aoi did turn out to be a nice guy. It's just really bad and wrong of him to want to seek revenge on an innocent boy. But hey! if people can still love Uchiha Sasuke for the crap he did just because he has a reason to do revenge, I don't see why Aoi is such a bad character. Naruto didn't give up on Sasuke and they are just friends, what makes Kana, not giving up on Aoi when they have been in a relationship together and done things for the first time to be cherished, such a crappy character?
And Aoi! He's a baddie but deep down inside, he's really nice! He doesn't show it but deep down inside he really cares for Kana. He was just too blinded by wanting to seek revenge. I can understand the pain and anger he feels but I do not agree with him making use of Kana cos Kana is such a sweet little boy. :3 I think Aoi's pretty cool at times.
As for the cousin, there's nothing bad to say about him. He's a true blue nice, kind hearted, caring, gentleman. Kana is so lucky! :)
Enjoyment: 9/10
I gave such a mark because.. well, I've already wrote in the story section, I enjoyed it like like a rollercoaster ride. Not that I like rollercoasters actually but I went through sadness, disappointment, denial, happiness, relief, and in the end, I didn't want the manga to end just yet. That's how much I enjoyed this book.
Overall: 9/10
I tend to give 9/10 and hardly ever 10/10 as I feel 10/10 is only for those I personally feel is perfect all around. I made this review because I didn't want people to just skip this manga based on what others have written. It's not your usual comedy and flowers blooming yaoi manga but it's also not your usual rape and fall in love and have sex every chance possible kinda yaoi manga. :) Give it a shot. Be your own judge. :D

This anime, I can't quite put my finger on it.. It's really great and I love this anime, but yet it's not exactly a favourite yet. I do intend to read the manga eventually but for now, I have to say, it's one of those anime that you would end up loving because of the feeling it gives you.
Story: 9 Great
I loved the story. It's a pretty simple concept. A boy who wants to be a girl. Yet, it's such a sensitive and difficult situation. It does let the watcher understand that there's really not much of a difference for a guy who wants to
...
want to be a girl from a normal guy. Nor a difference for a girl who wants to be a guy. End of the day, they are all humans and have feelings and wishes for things that everyone else wishes for. They just want to be accepted for who they are. It's pretty touching at points especially as you watch him grow up and slowly start to change yet staying true to what he had always believed in.
Art: 10 Outstanding
Really love the art! Seriously, it's the art that made me decide to give this anime a go. I really loved the soft pastel colors and the watercolor and pencils look. It makes it seem a lot more gentle which fits really well with the story. They are after all still kids too.
Sound: 10 Outstanding
I really! LOVED the soundtrack. I loved both the starting song and the ending song. The starting song reminds me of school days. :) Like a sunny day dawning in a classroom, or a trip to the beach and happy days spent with friends. I thought it fits the anime pretty well since there is a tight knit of friends and family and how they learn to stick together and accept one another. The ending song seems more personal. It's seems to fit more to Nitori's self, how he feels and thinks. It's almost like I can imagine Nitori rising his head under the bright sun and walking on with everyone accepting him the way he is. The chorus would be when all his friends joins him and they all have a good time together. Both of these songs gives me goosebumps when I listen to them. As for the background music, I could listen to them all on it's own. It's got very nice melodies, some with violins and pianos and at times can be pretty touching or happy light feeling. The songs are what makes me miss the anime whenever I listen to them. Makes me feel sad it's ended and I can't see them move and come to life anymore. I can only continue the story and find out more about the characters through the manga pages.:(
Character: 9 Great
The cast is REALLY good. For most characters, I like their personalities. Even the ones I hated at first ends up being not that bad after all. Each character, you get to watch them develop and "grow up" and watch how their relationships with each other develop. Nitori is the main character so of course, you will watch him grow the most and feel for him the most. But the supporting characters do play some influence in his growth. It's an anime where you learn to like and feel for the different characters. In the end, you will wish they all find their happiness. :)
Enjoyment: 9 Great
Really enjoyed this anime, if not I would not have bothered to write a review for it. There's nothing you won't enjoy about. Except maybe a character in this anime may irritate you but other than that, everything about it is lovely, the music, the theme songs, the characters, the feelings you get with all these combined together. Just listening to the soundtrack right now & it makes me miss this anime very much. :(
Overall: 9 Great
I considered it as a 9 instead of a 10 because, as much as I love this anime, it doesn't really end up as one of my top 10 favourite anime. Or maybe it will some day, but it doesn't give me the feeling that I want to re-watch this anime. It's lovely definately!, that's why it's almost got a perfect 10, it's just that I'm not too sure if I'll love it enough to the point that I'll want to rewatch it again in the future. :)

This is one manga that I really wanted to write a review the moment I finished reading it. This is only my 2nd time writing a review so pardon my skills. Here goes...
Story: 6/10 Fair
It was a pretty good story if not for some areas where I feel frustrated and I didn't particularly like the ending.. I didn't understand why did the author/artist decide to end it in that way when it could have been done in another way that made a bit more sense.XS However, all in all, it was still a pretty good story to make me want to read all the way
...
to the end as soon as possible.
Art: 9/10 Very Good
Art work was lovely.. So much attention to details (clothes, backgrounds, etc) and all the lead characters are lovely eye candies. The funny thing is Pushkin doesn't look his age!! hahahaha.. He kinda looks the same age as D'Anthes!! If not for his mature ways, you wouldn't think he's that much older than Natalia.
Character: 8/10 Very Good
I like most of the characters in this story. However, there was a point when I started getting frustrated and irritated with Natalia although in the end, it sort of goes away but I can't say I ended up liking her character, I guess I still resent some bitterness towards her from the way she behaved. One thing I really din't like about her character was her wishy-washy-ness and that is on top of her betraying Pushkin. I REALLY liked Pushkin though. He's a character you just can't bring yourself to not like, despite his random dueling challenge and hot-temper, he is such a gentle and kind person. You would tend to feel sorry for him and because of how nice a character he is, and Natalia had no reason to betray him. He was a very loving a sweet person who cares so much for her and the family. He does so much for her and sacrifice all pride and everything just for her! Hence why people who read this would tend to be a little bit upset with Natalia. Now, about D'Anthes, I tried to hate him because we all know it takes two hands to clap to have an affair... So it's not entirely Natalia's fault but the way D'Anthes' character is, it's sooo hard to hate him.. Instead you end up feeling sorry for him and blaming the affair on Natalia (I think it could be just me being bias here :S) It's just that he's always getting his heart broken, it's always sad to see him cry and his pained expression. In the end, you just can't bring yourself to hate him when you see the pain and heartbreaking moments he goes through. He's like a lost puppy in love. I did wish Natalia's sister and Pushkin would get together as he really deserve someone who appreciates him and cares for him the way he does for someone he loves. :( that way, it's not so heartbreaking to know that Natalia doesn't love him as he can still be happy with someone else.. after all, she wants to be with D'Anthes anywayXS
Enjoyment: 7/10 Good
I did enjoy the it for the most part. It's only certain small parts that I felt abit of frustration and irritation (thanks to Natalia) and the ending. Until now, it still kind of gets to me. I wish there's an alternate ending to it. :(
Overall: 6/10 Fair
I think there should be an alternate ending where D'Anthes and Natalia gets together in the very end. As in she remarries him. And maybe even Pushkin fate can be tweeted a bit so that he ends up falling in love with Natalia's sister who appreciates him much more and has loved him from the very beginning. Maybe then I'll give it a 8/10 hahaha (I tend to be very skeptical.. I seldom give a 10/10 unless it's really perfect XD)

This is the first time I'm writing a review so pardon me if my reviewing skills isn't great but after reading this manhwa, I felt like I need to say something out there...
Story: 5/10 Mediocre
The story did fairly well. I've read many other shoujos that got me much more interested. Yes, it's true that it's pretty unique as it seems to focus more on how the guy feels chasing the girl he loves all his life and it does make the heart feel for him however, there are times where I wish he would just move on to someone else he deserve much more! Hence,
...
at times, the story can be a bit draggy and irritating(mainly because of the lead female character). I like how they didn't miss out anyone and at least touch on other smaller role characters story like the brother of the lead male character as well as introducing the father the lead female character. I do not like how the story ends without so much of trying to improve the lead female character personality. I wish the story continued on a little to show me that the girl isn't as irritating as she is.
Art: 8/10 Very Good
Art took some getting used to but that's just me being very picky. It does grow onto me after awhile and I end up liking to look at the illustrations of the characters especially the guys and Rosa. :) All in all, art work is satisfying enough to my eyes.
Character: 3/10 Poor
Ok... this section I don't really know how to judge as I really like the lead male character but I REALLLLLYYYY hate the lead female character and I guess that kinda overcome my liking for the other characters. Every other character in this manhwa is pretty good, even the irritating playboy turns out quite likable. However, the lead female character really pisses me off alot when i was reading it. I have never come across a lead character that I feel so irritated with. To the point that I don't even want the two lead characters to be in love with each other cos trust me!! he deserves sooooo much better. But that's just my own opinion. I just could not stand her and she never ever did anything to make up for all the crappy shit she does like randomly whacking the shit out of another girl in the park!! She never really develop in this story. Hence, I wish the artist had worked on her a bit more to show some gradual change in becoming a better person.
Enjoyment: 4/10 Decent
Same reasons as I stated above for why I gave a low rating. It's only saved by the nice art work! And well maybe Heerack(lead male character) as he's really adorable. Well everyone is alright but thanks to the main girl, it caused a huge drop in my favour to this manhwa. I do not really like it when I get irritated and frustrated with the main female character. (Like I said though, just my own personal opinion and bias-ness) I can't really say I enjoy it alot when most part of the story I'm irritated and frustrated and want things to move on so it would (in some hope) make me feel better.
Overall: 5/10 Mediocre
I'm sorry but the lead female character is by far one of the most irritating horrible personality character I've ever come across in a manhwa. At times she can be even considered evil!!! XS
