I really did want to like this show, but there are too many flaws within the show and nothing to make up for it.

Dororo is about a boy trying to get back everything that was taken from him after his father sacrifices his body to twelve demons to make his domain prosper. On its own, the premise is extremely interesting but throughout the show, there was just too much "filler" which added nothing to the story. Adding on to that Hyakimaru doesn't receive enough character development which the entire show is supposed to be centered around.

I can't say I didn't enjoy the show, because most ... of the fights were smooth and fun to watch. However, the consistency in animation wavered here and there which made some scenes hard to watch.

Overall this series was good, but it definitely could have been a lot better with more character development for Hyakimaru and the rest of the cast.

One last thing, this is my personal opinion but the ending felt a little incomplete to me and I left the show feeling pretty empty.

This show definitely met my expectations but that's essentially the only thing it did. The main reason this came to be is that the show was only able to get 12 episodes, and I believe that it could have been a lot better with a season two or a complete 24 episode show. By any means, I don't think the show is bad but I do believe the end could have had more build-up and more mysteries could have been uncovered along the way.

My main problem with the show (as stated before) is that most of the plot development was squeezed into the latter part ... of the show without much time to catch up. For example, they pushed all the history around the Sylvasta family and Alan's immortality to the end and didn't care to elaborate on that. I do realize that they only had 12 episodes to make it but they used the first five episodes to set up the world which I personally didn't think was completely necessary because none of those episodes really added to the plot (apart from the fact that Michiru was able to develop her powers). So overall I definitely enjoyed the show, but with only 12 episodes to work with Trigger wasn't able to give us something as remarkable as
Kill La Kill (And yes I think Kill la Kill was really good).

I absolutely loved this movie and I personally believe that Trigger outdid themselves with it. However, I do have to admit that the character development was definitely meh because we only really got screentime of Galo and Lio (and even then nothing much changed about them from the beginning of the story to the end). The story itself was definitely not outstanding as it doesn't really change the medium but it's exactly the kind of stuff that I'm into. I'm keeping this short just because I want to say that this is a really fun film that you should watch not to critique it ... but to enjoy the ride.
