I binge-watched the 15 total episodes (for now) while I was down sick for a couple of days.
I LOVED the series. The bite-size episodes make the show easy to watch and not overwhelming, and it's perfect to watch during breaks-- or you could binge-watch the whole thing like I did, obviously.
I loved the humour and execution of the jokes particularly. It's pretty fast-paced and the style felt similar to Saiki K (which is also another great show). way the anime is structured has a bit of a manga-esque feel, if that makes any sense.
I don't know if it was because I feel particularly vulnerable when I'm not feeling well, but the show was a great comfort to me the past few days. Would totally recommend to both those who are and aren't sick!

Where to begin…
The series is based on the very familiar (and repetitive) "villainess reincarnated" trope. Nothing innovative or unique there. This is seen in the animation style, storyline, and character dynamics. Honestly, I didn't have much hope going into the series. However, the story is comparatively solid compared to other series of this genre. Similar anime follow somewhat loose storylines without ultimate goals, mimicking nichijou-type anime series. I think this one is less of that; the story has a semi-well-built backbone, cleverly using the "time-loop" trope, giving the main character an ultimate goal and each episode somewhat of a purpose.

determined and intelligent young woman; these types of protagonists are also pretty common to this niche. Like many others, the meat of her character is that she isn't a "damsel in distress". She's capable: physically, mentally, and emotionally. I like how her thoughts and actions really reflect her past experiences. Having not seen a series of this genre for a while, it was nice watching Riche's determined character play out in the story. That's to say, however, that plot armour is laid on THICK as usual. There isn't a moment when her plans don't end up working out. You know, she's always right about her intuition. If there are 5 men in the room and her with a small knife, there's no questioning who's winning. My point is that she's a bit overpowered, which I guess isn't rare in anime like this, but it also interferes with character development, because she doesn't seem to grow or learn from mistakes. The repeated cycle of her finding a problem and fixing it flawlessly becomes a bit boring after 12 episodes. It's a classic 'wash, rinse, and repeat' cycle, which makes the series feel predictable and lacking in tension.
Many of the side characters play into stereotypical plot devices for the protagonist, and don't stand out individually. Because of that, their interactions and backstories feel a bit hollow, although this isn't unique to this series alone.
The visual aesthetic of the anime was also pretty standard for a 12-episode romance like this one, but nothing ground-breaking. This goes for both character design and background design.
The romance aspect of the anime, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Since the startup of their marriage made no sense to me, the progression of their relationship felt unnatural and confusing. I've always loved watching romance, whether it's good or bad, so this unnaturalness didn't bother me too much, but I can see how it would become boring for other people. As a side note, I do want to add that the "cute" scenes were indeed cute and I found them worth waiting for albeit the show features little of them.
The male lead's character remains somewhat consistent throughout the story, but the events of their first encounter and even throughout the anime is so inconsistent with his character. He's your typical "cold-blooded royalty" type, and his behaviour and actions justify this categorisation as well. However, his interactions with Riche felt so isolated from the rest of his character, that they felt confusing. I think this season alone wasn't able to capture the entirety of his character, which is why he felt a bit lacklustre.
Overall, I'd say that it's only worth watching if you're into these types of "reincarnated" romance anime tropes and don't mind the overly-used character dynamics and story. For anyone else, it might feel lacking in romance, and there's also not enough of story and action to sustain engagement so it might not be very enjoyable.

The start of the story is what you can find in many other series of the genre, and also introduces many familiar Shoujo tropes throughout. The dynamic is also a common one, being that of an overprotective male lead and a shy, introverted female protagonist. Despite this, something about them feels distinctive from other Shoujo anime, and it’s refreshing to watch. shallow, and you shouldn’t expect too much of a real story. I would say it’s a Nichijou Anime more than anything. It might even start to feel a bit stale after a while if you're binge-watching it. If you're looking for something new in the Shoujo genre, this show will feel too familiar and repetitive. On the other hand, for anyone seeking something comfortable and bite-sized, this series is for you!
3 words. Manga is better. Despite how much I like the series in general, the animation was just not as great as the Manga version. I didn’t want to slander the animation out of respect for the animators and also because how much I enjoyed reading the manga. However, I thought that the animated version didn’t fully capture the magic of the manga. This was the biggest flaw I noticed when watching the show. Even though it’s still a cute anime, there are excessive amounts of recap-scenes and pauses, and the animation feels pretty lazy in some scenes, despite the characteristic art style. It feels like a condensed, less detailed version of the manga. This is especially noticeable if you go in the order of Manga to Anime. If you enjoy reading manga, I would definitely recommend reading the story more than committing to the animated series. The only downside of the manga is that it’s really long, and might take a while to get to the latest volume. If you’re eager to get through the series fast and care less about the quality, go for the anime! Also, the intro and outro is really cute.
TLDR; If you’re looking for the full experience of the story, I would highly recommend reading the manga instead. However, I would recommend giving it a watch if you're looking for a comfortable watch with a familiar story and tropes.

A story about maneuvering through the complicated world of the entertainment industry, revenge, friendship and passion.
The plot is unique and refreshing, albeit being based around the familiar reincarnation trope, adding a unique twist to the trope through its plot. Even though the story has a really strong start, I personally think that the events that pushed the story were too convenient and maybe even a bit predictable. I still enjoyed the story, but I think that the meat of the anime is rooted in addressing modern issues and topics of the Japanese entertainment industry collectively, as well as the Japanese idol industry in particular. also ties those elements to more general topics like friendship and individualism. The anime is surprisingly dark and maybe even bleak in many scenes, as it deals with sensitive topics and attempts to delve into the intricacy of human feelings— even the ugly ones.
The protagonist is a bit of a morally grey character, and even after completing the season I do not understand his motives and feelings. I think that there are some moral issues regarding the character as well, which made it hard for me to develop positive feelings towards him throughout the series. Despite this, his wit and determination-stricken madness makes him a really interesting character. I wish the course of events were less unsurprising beyond the first few episodes so that this aspect of his character could shine more.
The animation is beautiful, and captures the emotion of the character extraordinarily well even just through their eyes. I think it deserves a lot of credit in the aesthetic aspect of the show. Because of this, I didn’t find myself getting bored too often whilst watching. The details of the animation highlight the psychological horror aspect of the show, which I found to be the most appealing element of the anime.
Overall, it’s a good anime, and it’s worth watching just for the animation and artistic details. The story is interesting, but it might start to feel a bit stale in the later episodes. I don’t know if it was AOTY, but I understand why so many people like it so much.

A beautiful story of a woman who lost her happiness and purpose to live to a tragic childhood and home environment, slowly regaining the life in her eyes as the story progresses. It's set in the 19th-century Meiji Restoration era of Japan.
My initial anticipation of the series was that it was going to be another wholesome, light-hearted watch as you would find in many other romance anime. This belief was dismayed in the tragic introduction of female protagonist Miyo Saimori, and the pale sadness that continued all throughout the episodes. In the first few episodes, I didn't see the plot expanding from what it had initially presented itself as. However, the last episodes were very much based around plot, which was a bit surprising. I also want to mention the surprising amount of fantasy and supernatural elements. Compared to other plot-based anime series, you could say that the plot could have been more appealing had there been more twists and turns. However, for viewers looking for a more relaxed watch, the show has found a great balance between action, plot, and romance.
The animation was beautiful! It perfectly portrayed the feeling of each event of the show, whether it be pure sadness or light-hearted happiness. The detailed expressions of the character implore empathy from any viewer, as well as the intricately chosen colours for each scene. The action-packed scenes were also animated nicely, which was surprising, as a lot of romance anime I have watched fail to do this or don't have any at all.
Overall, a great anime for anyone who's looking for a romance anime with a somewhat deeper plot than your typical romance, with unexpected scenes of action and supernatural elements. The dynamic between Miyo and Kiyoka also adds an element of wholesomeness to the show, although Miyo's emotional journey calls for both happiness and sadness. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for something different in the romance genre!

Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu is an Isekai anime with a reincarnation plot. I won't lie, reincarnation plots can get a bit repetitive after watching so many. However, this story felt more unique in terms of the depth of plot compared to others with similar storylines. The comedic and romantic elements of the show made the watch a cheery one, and I enjoyed watching it without having to think too deeply about what was happening on screen. It's a nice show to watch when you need a break from your life and want to delve into a different world for a while.

really say that the characterisation of each character was done amazingly. For example, the protagonist supposedly possesses a cunning, intelligent personality, but her intelligence is not portrayed well enough in the series to build her character further. She is also illustrated in a way that sheds light on her kindness and strength as an individual. However, these traits are also not explored enough in the events of the show, and thus leave a feeling that it was unaccomplished. She is very much like the typical protagonist of many other Shoujo fantasy shows.
The story for me felt a lot less sloppy than I have felt in other Shoujo fantasies with similar stories. In short, mostly everything made sense. Despite the initial plot being a pretty common one in the genre, I think it delved into some unexplored territory and it was refreshing to see. It was fun seeing how the story progressed, but it was definitely not extensive and the fun of the anime is based more around the characters and the romance element.
TLDR; the light-hearted comedy and cute romantic scenes made the show a great watch for me. Honestly, it's great to watch if you're looking for something light and cute (especially if you like cunning royalties). On the other hand, for watchers seeking interesting stories, characters and action, the show might feel a bit inadequate.
