This had been in my Plan to Watch for some time, but I gotta say this was a lot different than I expected. I started this because Cutthroat seemed like an interesting character, but while I was watching it, I started leaning more towards Courier and Swindler, eventually I didn’t really pay that much attention to Cutthroat anymore.

While this was confusing at times, the characters were very well written and quite diverse in terms of personality. Nearing the end, I was very excited to see how this would end and I was not disappointed.

As far as 12-episode long animes go, this had a lot of ... scenes and content. It was neither boring or uninteresting to watch.

As far as Daomu Biji adaptations go, this wasn't the worst, but it definitely wasn't the best either. When I started this, I basically knew everything that would happen since I've seen every live action of this series so far.

I gotta say that there were many differences between what happened in the live action and in this one. I found this really lacking the emotional impact that The Lost Tomb 2 had and it made this very underwhelming.

Some of the more noticeable differences were the lack of Wang Pangzi and Ah Ning, along with Zhang Qiling’s short screen time.

Overall, the animation was good and it ... made this more enjoyable.
