Komi-san focuses on communication disorder, and then the side characters just ignore this disorder, thereby sending the wrong message to the audience.
The show is overhyped. Other than the main 3 characters, the rest are just poorly designed for repetitive, uninspired humor. There is no character development. New characters get introduced and then they are just there. Worst is the yandere one, I just hate all scenes that involve her. She appears in all episodes and then she's just, there. For comedy. I get that the show is slice of life/ comedy genre but the side characters can range from ok (like the chuunibyou) to irritating.

For the story line and the world that the creators have designed, I find Darling in the FranXX downright appalling and a cringe-fest of sexual innuendoes focussed on Zero Two whose only role is say the word "Darling" over and over again. The anime has enough plot to last for 6 episodes yet they extend it to 4x its length. I couldn't even bare watching more than 4 episodes of this anime due ... |
