The fuck went wrong with this show? Or was it even right in the first place? Lots of praise for epiosde 1 but let me tell you , aside from the animation which btw looked inconsistent af even in the first episode, which many fail to even notice. But the atmosphere was bulit well at the start (few mins) with that badass intro with the spiral music but most of the first episode included some of the worst jumpscares ive ever seen , how tf is it even a jumpscare if they prepare the audience for it? Like, they just tell your ass its ... going to get smth gory or scary (never was). She (that forehead mark girl) says ''can you take a look at my forehead?", obv this shit is going to be a jumpscare, we dont expect it to be a hairline reveal and her mark was already simped on enough by everyone except shuichi. Also, sometimes the characters looked lifeless af , like theyre some fucking dolls or video game NPCs, the way their eyes and body moved when those two bitches talked to shuichi, uhh felt like a puppet show. Then shuichi asked his gf to run , they ran in the most hilarious way, and this was most of the first episode, they prepare us for smth scary to come, making it not scary, then someone runs from that situation in the most hilarious ways possible, how tf are we supposed to feel unsettled if they run like that?. The pacing seemed fast like the fkn tornado disturbing Kirie at the start, they didnt let us feel the mystery for a while , kept giving us information quickly and not letting a supposed jumpscare settle in , instead they create a heap of boring and predicatable jumpscares, tried hard to be gory but it was neither disgusting or scary for me. That spiral obsessed father (does he also dissolve himself in his shit when he flushes it out bcz that def creates a spiral) putting his tongue out, i dont feel shit man im sorry im not pretending to be liking this shit bcz of the hype. I will give it tho to the scene when the mother cuts herself or when the fathers ashes forms himself fucked in the sky, that was unsettling but definitely not the scene where the father is fucked up in the spiral when his fam finds out what he dissolved himself in.

But the reason the first episode seems so much better is bcz the next ones seems to be vomited out, esp the second episode might be the worst fucking episode ive ever seen. Reminder that they took 5 years for this, im not well versed in whatever was behind the animation team , but 5 years for 4 episodes which has unbearable animation, atleast 3 of the last ones. Compare this to smth like the anime PLUTO that came out last year, they took i think 6 years , but they had 8 episodes , each ep around an hour long and the anime is fucking brilliant , the animation is amazing, its so well adapted, shitty uzumaki gets the hype (the trailer showed some shots which should be disappointing but people said halloween is going to be worth it bcz of this) and PLUTO never got the recognition it deserved last year, not blaming this bcz this came recently obv, just blaming the stupid hype some shows dont deserve, if someone has read this review so far , just fucking watch the anime PLUTO , forget about anything in life, if youre shitting , take the shit in or throw it out in one push and go to your netflix and watch PLUTO , fuck this review, watch PLUTO. The running animation somehow even got worse , ep 2 of uzumaki shows human beings are capeable of crimes worse than anything. This ep can kill people bcz its just so fkn appalling. The pacing, animation every fucking thing in this anime got changed to the worst thing ever marking the birth of Uzumaki Ep 2 capeable of killing billions and a threat to humanity than any fkn nuclear weapons, aliens , the sun dying in 5 years etc.
Save lives of people by not recommending this show to them , the last 3 eps are more painful than a dick getting burnt would feel. Im writing this review bcz ive erased many memories of the last 3 eps, i wont be talking more about them , the review is done, i hope you understand , its done ,fuck you.
