This series made me regret my emotional dedication and spending money. This story had a lot of potential, and I wish it weren’t so rushed. The premise is a rather unique one. The main character is obsessed with animals and terrified of women. He sees women as animals that are constantly looking for their next prey. It’s mainly afraid of being hurt by a girl, but that changes when he’s the only man in an ad team for a dating app. So, all the girls start getting to know him and develop robust, lustful feelings for him.
The Good:
The art and detailed animal designs are
...
attractive. The question is quite interesting: “What does it mean to be in love?” This idea felt very clever to explore and doesn’t get focused on a lot in different romance stories.
The Bad:
This involves all of them attempting to rape him. I couldn’t tell if this was a dumb way to raise the situation's stakes or a dumb laugh. This happens quite a bit and ruins the story for me. I found it baffling that he never reported this behavior to a higher-up of the ad agency. The characters are all 2D in turns of personality. The philosophy of the manga is “What does it mean to be in a relationship?” it never explores it cause it’s the main girl’s answer, then wedding time. The ending is too fast and unsatisfying since there’s no build-up, and all the other girls don’t get their happy ending, which is unfair. Every girl in the manga wants a relationship, and they get nothing. Just don’t buy this series.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
Now, I've never played the game that this is anime is based off. If I had, then I would've been EVEN MORE annoyed at this adaption. This anime is absolutely terrible, and I honestly can't believe that a lot of time was spent on this project. The whole story sounded basic because of the revenge plot to kill the dragon that destroyed the main character's village. Very basic yet, it was terrible regardless. Revenge plots can be interesting, but other times, it's absolute crap.
Positive:
When the audio for the characters was recorded, the actors were in the same recording booth to help
...
the emotions and dialogue. This was a clever move, and it shows in the story.
Negative:
The animation has tons of flaws, such as very basic deaths that are animated in such lazy designs and fighting scenes. The main character, Ethan, is basic and fails to leave an impact on the viewer. Each episode felt like I was watching how the seven deadly sins can affect people. This can be a fun idea and help develop new stories. But this seems like the writing was so lazy and confusing. Every potential that that is shown is immediately ruined in a garbage fire of trash. I don't relate to these characters, and I feel bored. I was even more bored than watching school days, and high school prodigies have it easy in another world. Those animes at least had a high moment in the series. Dragon's Dogma has no high points at ALL! Even the final fight was a disappointment!
The dragon explains that the reason for destroying Ethan's village was compared to Ethan's need to breathe. We humans need to breathe to live our lives. A dragon needing to destroy a village to help live their life is the most CONFUSING and LAZY plot twist that I have EVER witnessed. I honestly feel bad for the animators that worked tirelessly on the animation because there are moments where it's amazing. Unfortunately, there are also weak moments in the animation. It's just disappointing in general.
Dragon's Dogma is a lazy disappointment of an anime, and I feel like I would've enjoyed the Netflix live-adaptation of death note would've been a better option for me to watch. I wouldn't say I liked this show; I'd rather say that I absolutely hated it!

Now, I'm a fan of this anime. I love how relatable this show is about life, relationships, the struggles that go with dating, and the heavy metal death voices are always entertaining to watch. I genuinely enjoy each of these seasons and still get excited to watch the anime when a new season is released.
Negative:
Luckily there is only one with this anime. In S2, Washimi, and Gori had a fight that wasn't fully resolved during the S3. I personally wanted to see how they figured out their differences. I enjoy their character dynamic and friendship, so I was disappointed not to see their fight
...
resolved. What else did I not like about this series? Hmmm, I guess that is it.
Positive:
The animation is very clean and admirable that has a cutesy feel to it. It reminds me of hello kitty but more enjoyable, in my opinion. I found it interesting how Aggrestusko explored idol groups and having a side job to make more money. The show does have a point about how students are given a bill for their student loans. When you think about it, people do have bills to deal with at a certain point in their lives. Now, the idol group was a smart idea to help have Retsuko grow more as a person and show her talent for singing death metal. The songs were catchy and still to this day, I want to buy the CD. WHERE THE HELL IS THE CD FOR THIS SHOW!!!??? I WILL BUY IT NETFLIX! PLEASE!!! What was I talking about again? Oh, now, I remember. OTM girls were fun to watch and see the writers spend more time with creative songs rather than just death metal. Now, I'm not a k-pop or idols fan, but I do know about this fun fact. Well, I wouldn't call it fun. There are people called sasaeng, which are people that are fans obsessed with idol groups or artists. This show has that which made it take a darker turn. The season finale was cleaver with the ending and how intense it got. I was surprised and made me enjoy the season even more. The jokes were hilarious, and I laughed quite a bit while watching the series. All in all, I recommend this show! It's relatable, funny, well-written, serious at times, and enjoyable animation to watch!

In the beginning, I liked this anime and thought that it was good. Season 2 was short, and I wish it were included in season one. For whatever reason, season 2 is four episodes that I thought were odd. Now season three left me satisfied with the story and excited for S4. Oh boy, this season was a disappointment for me. But I'm going to start with the positive.
By the way, a spoiler warning for anyone that hasn't seen all the episodes. So I suggest that.
Positive:
Gowther's character change was a new decision. His story was entertaining, and I did grow to like him.
...
I liked Meliodas's plan to fix his curse on Elizabeth. King and Diane getting together were nice to see, and their chemistry is always fun to watch. Hawk is an excellent character that will always make me laugh. And that's about it.
Negative:
Why did the animators have the blood look white???? If it were a creature race, then it'd be fine with me. The ten commandments were neat without going into everyone's backstory. Revealing that the Goddess race is evil in the holy war was a dumb move that made me go "wait, what?!" This season had gone into the depth of the evil characters, but that ruined the fun of the villains. Some things are better left unsaid...and AVOIDED! Gloxinia and Drole's backstory was okay but seemed pretty stereotypical. So I was annoyed at how the backstories were created. Escanor and Meliodas's fight was ten minutes of a snore. I didn't get why he needed to prove that he was the most muscular sin in the group. It's evident that Escanor is powerful, but I don't understand why the fight had to happen. Merlin could've knocked out Meliodas's demon ways with inert gas until he was needed again. The jokes were noticeable, but I didn't laugh at most of them, mainly because I was bored throughout the whole season. Now that I think about it, a lot of the fight scenes have been boring for me. I have a feeling that people out there would find the fight scenes to be entertaining, but I'm not one of those people.
Now, I mention how I liked Meliodas's plan to fix Elizabeth's curse, but I wished that he had gathered all the sins himself for more interesting storytelling. I didn't get why he sought out the commandments souls himself. Estarossa is honestly my least favorite commandment because he wants to be Melidoas but, that results in him getting more potent by dumb decisions!!! I had no opinion about him at the end of S3, and then that changed completely. I didn't care about the story of Estarossa and was more interested in the overall story. I felt that Meliodas could've used the seven deadly sins to help him with his plan to break the curse rather than disband them. They'll help him rather than leave him to be the next demon king. The horrible ending is what pissed me off the most. I began to get interested in the story towards episode 22, and then 24 came and stopped midway through the fun. I know it's a dumb way to get people to keep watching the series. But at least do that after an epic battle with the villains. Now I have to wait for S4 until winter 2021. Hopefully, this series gets better and makes it more interesting.
