Sorry for bad grammar, english is not my native language.
So, the Demon Slayer Movie finally came to my country in the cinema. It was definitely a cool experience to watch it in 4DX.
MAJOR Spoilers:
Story (6|10)

realise that it’s just a dream. With the help of Nezuko who cuts Tanjirous rope he manages to escape by killing himself in his dream. Quickly after, Zenitsu and Inosuke also defeat their enemy in their dream. Tanjirou knocks out the people who tried to destroy their core and searches for the demon who put them to sleep. After he found the demon, Inosuke also comes to help him. Meanwhile Nezuko, Zenitsu and Rengoku try to defend the passengers from the demon, who meanwhile spread through the whole train. After a long battle Tanjirou and Inosuke manage to cut the demons head and the train crashes. Tanjirou and his friend think that they are in safety, but suddenly the number three of the upper rank demons Akaza appears out of nowhere. Akaza offers Rengoku to become a demon, but he declines his offer. After a long fight and many offers to become a demon, the sun suddenly begins to rise. Akaza who has still his arm stuck in Rengokus stomach breaks his arm and escapes in the nearby forest, leaving Rengoku half dead. Tanjirou throws his sword at him but he still manages to escape. After that, we get the backstory of Rengoku. Shortly after, he dies. The story was nothing special, typical Shonen arc. Reminded me a bit of Water 7 Arc from One Piece with the train.
Animation (10|10) + Sound (9|10) + Art style (7|10)
When I heard that Ufotable (my favourite Anime animation Studio) did again the animation, I had high expectations. Ufotable just never manages to disappoint me. A lot of Studios have their weak point e.g., WIT Studios weakness is CGI, but Ufotable doesn’t have one, they did a great job. Fantastic visuals, amazing CGI and great sounds, I can’t complain, they did everything perfect.
I like the Art style of Demon Slayer, it’s cool. Especially the characters designs are well done.
Characters (3|10)
Demon Slayer definitely got some of the most boring characters. Tanjirou isn’t a good MC he’s just your typical MC who just wants to save his sister. He also has a boring and typical Shonen backstory. Zenitsu and Inosuke are mad unfunny and every time they made a joke or a face that should be funny, I just thought “Bruh”. I expected that Rengoku had some interesting backstory, but no, his story was even weaker than Tanjirous. His father just wasn’t giving him recognition that he became a Pillar, and his goal was to become the strongest Pillar to protect weaker people, as his mom told him. I know the creator wanted to make a character like Gintoki from the Anime Gintama (Not a thought. She confirmed it in an interview), but she did it really bad. Akaza was even worser, he just appeared there and killed Rengoku like nothing. Overall, I don’t like how the character of Demon Slayer are written.
Enjoyment (8|10)
If you have friends, 17 € (~20 $) and 4DX in your cinema I would definitely recommend watching it with your friends. It’s also really funny to scream “Eren Jäger” and “Smoking that Rengoku pack” in the cinema and with the visuals of Ufotable and the 4DX effects, you are definitely going to enjoy it. My only problem was the humour of Demon Slayer it’s mad unfunny.
Overall thoughts/rating (7|10):
The Film was nothing to special, typical Anime Movie but I still enjoyed watching it. Especially because of the fights and animations and you might find the humour of Demon Slayer funny. I would recommend watching it if you have the time.
