Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai or don't expect something the Cover shows you ;)

The Show basically is about a second-year student at a high school near Enoshima which meets several girls that are experiencing this so called "puberty syndrome." For example, he meets a wild bunny girl in the library. She turns out to be an actress on hiatus, Mai Sakurajima, who is also his senior at the school. For some reason, no one else can see this girl.As Sakuta searches for answers to help Mai, they spend more time together, and he eventually learns of her hidden feelings.

Plot/Story ... 9/10

The Series with an unusual Cover starts of as an normal Slice of Life Show but slowly adds an supernatural theme the "puperty syndrome" on it.The puperty Syndrome can either be interpreted as an supernatural entitiy that screw up others lifes but more likely its a reflection of a state in Reality that a lot of people go through be it through mental illness,puperty or an identity crysis.

But back to the Story in the Anime. It is divided into Four Arcs,where in one Sakuta and Mai get to know each other, Futaba comes to terms with the fact that she fights with her inner demons which is expressed to a second Futabe that has her own needs her own personality etc , and the last arc deals mainly with sister Kaede, who is basically the most important character next to Sakuta that the story represents.

Kaede, Sakuta's Sister is the reason to his believes that he "trys to be kinder each day" which he embody through the Character Shoco and this perfectly shows why the Story Writing is good.
Because Besides its romantic and supernatural vibes it creates a relateable Cast that have each their own Struggles and Problems.


Animation / Design 9/10

Nothing really to complain about the Characters are moving smooth, the backgrounds are beautiful and manage to put the characters in front so that they feel alive

Characters 10/10

I've said a lot in the Story Section that's why i review here the Characters as a whole

Overall you can say that each character has its own Struggles & Characteristics that resonates within them and give the anime the feel of depth.Each one of them is relateable be it told through the Syndrome or as a character itself.

Audio/Soundtrack 8/10

yea that OP / the Ending is Pretty catchy and reflects very good the soul of the show

So what we can say about this Anime. Sure people can say it has not a really linear narrative and is more focused on the Characters but that doesn't make the Show any less good. It shines through that with fleshed out characters,cute girls,smooth animation and a supernatural theme that you haven't seen in that way before which can be interpretated in different ways.

I can recommend it to everyone who like Slice of Life but also have nothing against a little bit of Supernatural Themes =)

Considering it as my 4th Review Juuni Kokuki or The Twelve Kingdoms really reminded me why i love the fantasy/adventure genre more than others.

Juuni Kokuki which was done by Studio Pierrot in 2002 and originated from the same named Novel tells us a Story about Youko a former Student which get thrown in a different world with its own rules and culture that challenges and change her whole existence.


Story

I've seen a few fantasy Anime and fantasy Shows/Movies from the west but what really different it from the most of them is the sheer amount of world building which got implemented here with a ... lot of love to the Genre.Its so fascinating to see how much effort they put in to make you believe the world is real and full of live and because of that i love it even through it has its down times by having to much of recap episodes.

Characters

Just like the Story its characters are fleshed out beeings with their own problems and lives.What really made those characters shine is the character development that they are going through and their change during meeting other characters.Some Characters who first were annoying made themselves to better persons by questioning their purpose in that world and that is something not many Anime can archive.

Art
Even through its from 2002 it has beautiful Character Animation,Backgrounds and a good Creature Design.The Animation feels flawless and make you really sink into that world.

Sound

The Ending fits the Show really good and the music overall in the series is always well chosen and helps the scenes to make you feel something.
But even through the Opening sounds nice I'm more the visual type and i would have found it better if it had a ''normal opening'' but that is just my opinion.

I've binged the Series in 5 days so i can really say i enjoyed it more than i thought i would because i thought it had some flaws which made the series boring but it didn't and that suprised me.I really sunk into it and loved the world.

I think i can say that this series is a thing for all people who wants invest some time in a fantasy anime with rich world building and good characters that really changes through their journey.It can scare off some people who just want some easy written fantasy story but those who love high quality fantasy stories should definitely give it a try

My third Review is about Houseki no Kuni which is a tale about immortal Gems that live in a world where the Lunarians(beeings from the Moon) are collecting them as a ressource and how are the Gems dealing with it as a group


In Terms of Story Writing it did a lot of things good like the character development which is characterized by the fact that although many characters are introduced everyone has its benefits.
In Addition the Story progressed in a good way so that everyone understands it even through at the end questions that i asked myself stayed unanswered(here i hope for a ... second season)

Story: 9/10


Even through I'm not a big fan of CGI because Berserk 2017 disturbed me for the rest of my Life this Anime had one of the best and i really hope this techniqe will have some impact on the industry as a whole.It had good fights which really are enjoyable and because of the 3D it felt more realistic
A little critic at the Animation and I know that the Characters are done like that as a stylistic way but sometimes the Character Animation out of fights seemed goofy.

Sound: 9/10
The Opening and ending were solid and fitting the atmosphere but
Especially the feudal japan alike music really picked me up through its chilling and melancholic tone.



Characters: 10/10
Like i said before the Characters are really the Point of this show and through its vareity of Gems everyone finds characters to like.
In Addition because of the way they were intruduced and developed you really have empathy for them even through they are immortal gems.

Enjoyment: 10/10

I really liked the anime not only because I'm a fan of fantasy alike anime but also of great animation and well developed storys with good musicial backgrounds
Each episode had its magic moments and through the good animation and chilling vareity of colors i felt entertained.

Overall: 9/10

to summerize the whole show i would say that if you have a thing for fantasy storys with a chilling and melancholic way of telling a story you should watch it even if you are not a fan of CGI.

My second Review is about Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul which continues the tale of the social and moral conflict between humans, gods, and demons, and their struggle for survival and dominance

Story: 8/10

In Terms of Story Writing it did a lot of things good like unexpectedly deaths of characters,introduction of the main cast Nina and telling a high quality fantasy story .In the ends it lacks a little bit of quality because you see that they tried to put as much as much as possible in the last few episodes instead of telling a story evenly exciting.

Art: 9/10

Just like the prequel, ... the art in this Anime is the best you can hope for a fantasy anime ,sometimes its a little bit overexposed but still top-notch animation from studio MAPPA

Sound: 9/10

Even trough i didn't liked the first opening very much its second opening and ending is on the same eargasm level as from the prequel . The Background sounds in fights or in emotional moments enhance the feelings that the show wants you to express.



Characters: 8/10
It has some Clishee characters like the King or Azazel but still it has a good main cast Nina which continues the good female part like in the prequel.
Every characters backgrounds get explained really good so that you feel with them as they die or have epic moments. Same Thing as in the Story Section
the ending for each character felt a little bit to swift thats why only can give 8 Points.

Enjoymend: 10/10

If an Anime can create a atmosphere that leads the viewer to build some theories how it would end and then gives you a advise for life namely to embrace things/people that are in front of you instead of scrutinize everything and to be alone in the end,YES then the Anime is an masterpiece

You have a vareity of different characters here,like i said before there are the overdrawn characters like Higuchi, Seitarou,Ozu,Johnny(hope you find the reference),Fortune Teller and Aijima
And the more realistic characters which made a good contrast like the main protagonists Watashi,Akashi and Hanuki Ryouko
