No matter how old school an anime maybe, it can be a diamond in the rough which lives up to the expectations of anime watchers of this time or even the future.. That's what Yu Yu Hakusho is!!
The story is unique and enjoyable. Many anime of these days are inspired by Yu Yu Hakusho.. and this is the anime which knows what a "Tournament Arc" means!!! In that case it is a masterpiece!!
A lot of people may say it looks bad but thinking about and comparing it to the other 90's anime shows, this anime had pretty good art

intense when needed and slow when needed..... And the opening is just insanely melodious!!
About characters, the protagonist Yusuke has too much of masculine aura around him. And I like the thing about him the most is he tells who he is by fighting... And other characters like Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, Botan, Koenma, Genkai ba-chan and even Keiko are attractive in their own way.... Specially Hiei and Kurama. Even Keiko who didn't appear in most of the episodes was quite attractive
No one will say it wasn't enjoyable
It wasn't too hyped and wasn't boring but just gives a nice feeling which makes you feel yes it would've been nice if I was born in 90's
This is the anime which made Shounen bloom for the first time into a full fledged flower.
I watched it 2times in a row considering how many episodes long it is. And I'm sure I'll watch it again!! It's just that good!!
