this show was so cute imo! it's like a slice of life and romantic comedy show and i loved it. i had been meaning to watch this show for a while but never got around to it, but now i'm glad i did. although the plot was kind of slow at first, i enjoyed each episode and would love to re-watch it again one day! (also this is hella long im sorryy)

characters!
narumi - narumi is kind of like this closeted-nerd until she meets her childhood friend, hirotaka, at her new office job. it didn't take her too long to fit in at her job ... so that's a plus! i'd say her personality is a little loud and out-going, she cares for people and is considerate. although she's a fujoshi (LMAO YEAH) her character wasn't too hard for me to put up with. i'd say she's cool at least.

hirotaka - hirotaka literally lives in the game world. he wants to play non-stop to the point where it's kinda unhealthy. usually when he talks, it's like game references and/or slang but imo it's lowkey cute. his expression is very nonchalant and speaks as if yk like he's not bothered at all. he usually just has a straight face most of the time and you RARELY see him smile, but when you do, OMGGG IT'S LIKE HE'S A DIFFERENT PERSON!! haha anyway, his and narumi's relationship is painfully slow but we'll let them live for now.

hanako - now hanako, she's so.. wow. she's kind of like narumi's laid back friend and co-worker who literally just insults kabakura but dw, they're in loveee. she also enjoys(?) reading yaoi and likes the ones narumi recommends. hanako is the type to put up somewhat of a tough-ish persona but whenever it's broken, (most likely by kabakura) she lets all her emotions flow and it's honestly so cute to see her bf take care of herr. it's also vice versa with her taking care of him, it's so ADORABLEEE (esp in ep 3 of the ova but no spoilers here!) !!

kabakura - kabakura is lowkey scary and acts like he's not a nerd but we already know he is. he mainly js insults hanako, his gf, but they're a really sweet couple imo. he usually just wants to watch anime since he's a big fan of it and loves reading girls' manga. kabakura is also the tough guy type and doesn't really let his guard down, but seeing how his face softens when hanako is feeling sad is just so sweet imo.

nao - nao is so sweet!! although he's literally clueless about gaming, he's a really nice person in general. i am soo glad his character was introduced in the series and it kinda got more interesting with him in it (imo). i just wish i saw a littlee bit more of him but yeah. nao is the type of person who stays positive no matter what, and rarely do you see him not smiling. so cute!

kou - kou is an introvert who loves to game whenever she has the chance. nao finds her at his job one day and they later become friends, but what nao doesn't know is that she's a girl and not a boy. kou likes to wear more masculine clothes since she said she doesn't like the way feminine clothes fit her, so it's easy to see how nao misunderstood this. her and nao's friendship is so cute and honestly, the ova is where things start to go further between them!!
